Private Beach Resort
There are two types of deluxe rooms – four storeys building with lift facing the garden with standing shower and another one two storeys building facing the swimming pool with bathtub. My room was facing the swimming pool and opposite the reception counter.
No toothbrush, slippers, bathrobes, body lotion and hair conditioner provided. These are necessities normally given by a four star hotel standard.
The room was dark at night and I could feel the mattress spring. I requested for twin beds but the beds were joined together. Why provided full mini bar for deluxe room as I had no space to put my own drinks? Guests should be given an option if they want a full mini bar. In addition, no bottle opener was given. An old-fashioned safety deposit box that required a key to open instead of pin number. A fine of THB2,600 is imposed should you lose the key. Noisy air conditioner. The room size was good. I liked the balcony with clothes rack.
Breakfast was good with many varieties and the menu changed daily. Fried rice, noodles, porridge, vegetables, sausages, hams, pastries, salad bar, fresh fruits and an egg station. On site ATM machine, massage and tailor were available.
The most polite staff I met was the security guard stationed at the main entrance. They greeted me every time I went in and out. Housekeeping did room inspection when I checked out.
About 10 minutes’ walk to Aonang Night Market.
