[2025 Shah Alam Restaurant] Travel Guide for Kota Kemuning shah alam (Updated Jun)

#malaysiatrip Hainan Village has been expanding their outlet covering more and more areas, came to Kota Kemuning and noticed they also have one outlet here. This has become one of my favourite and to-go vegetarian restaurant, my first try was back in Rawang, and now there is one here. I personally like their homemade fried tofu with pumpkin sauce, somewhat I tasted KFC batter from the tofu 😂 also, I ordered their signature nasi lemak with vegetarian rendang, love it!

#malaysiatrip Totally loving this place the first time I came here! My friend brought me this place and I never expect such delightful and lovely ambience! Moreover, the hot latte that I ordered was amazing! The staff recommended me the right choice of beans after I mentioned my preference ones. My friend also ordered peach strudel and gave me a WOW factor as the pastry is so flaky and crispy!

Abanico is a non-halal deli in Kota Kemuning that serves a wide selection of cuts, meats, and sausages. Their menu also reveals an extensive selection of side dishes and pasta to compliment your meat selection. There’s lamb, beef, fish…but I didn’t notice any 🐓 We chose the Black Pink Iberico skewer and their house special marinated pork belly accompanied by German potato salad and sautéed broccoli. We also had a mojito and an iced cocoa (but we drank before we took pics!) We paid RM106 for 2 meat, 2 sides and 2 drinks, and we felt that this was appropriate given the portion size and the quality. Parking is relatively simple and easy to find. In term of bean, I recommend Driver, which is not only cheaper but tastes better with medium dark roasting profile (the other one is roasted darker). #cityplaybook Tucked away in a quiet corner of Kota Kemuning, this little café feels more like stepping into a friend’s home than a typical coffee shop—think comfy sofas, humble household decor, and plenty of plants to add that cozy touch. I used to spend long afternoons stretched out on their couch, passing time before my evening classes. Their cold brew is what they’re best known for, and while they also offer nasi lemak, I never managed to try it—it always sold out before I got the chance. What stood out most was the heart behind the place. The owner (or maybe manager) was genuinely warm and constantly asking for feedback. #kualalumpurguide Cove cafe is one of the recent cafes that I enjoyed myself the most as they serve excellent food and coffee! A cafe with plant environment. They also sell small pot of plants. Cool environment that we can feel relax and welcome. This cafe is muslim friendly cafe that serve many kind of foods. I went there for a meeting with my ex Boss and it was so fruitful and meaningful meet up. I enjoyed Hot Chocolate Hazel Nut with a taste of so yummy.
