Jinjie Guangji Temple was built 1,000 years ago and is located in Kuroya Town, Sakyo District, Kyoto City, Japan. It is one of the seven main mountains of the Jodo sect. The name of the mountain is "Ziyun Mountain". Kaiji (founder) is Faran. Commonly known as "Black Valley", it is a temple with a high status in a sect of Buddhism. Also known as the Black Valley Hall, the New Black Valley, and the White River Zen Room. At the end of the shogunate, the main line of guardianship of Kyoto, the lord of the Aizu domain, Ryoho Matsudaira, took up the post of guardian of Kyoto on September 24, 1862.
