Some trees are already blooming beautifully, while others are still budding — just give it 3 to 5 more days and it’ll be full bloom across the board 🌸🌼 🌸 Blossom Update: The yellow rapeseed flowers are in full bloom now — perfect for viewing and photo ops! The trees in front of Miura Kaigan Station are about 70% in bloom — looking great! Along the Keikyu Line, the first half of the path has about 30% bloom with lots of buds still waiting to open. The latter half of the Keikyu Line route, especially near Komatsugaike Park’s entrance, is much better — trees are 60–80% in bloom and definitely worth a visit already! Inside Komatsugaike Park, blooms are still a bit delayed — best to come back in about a week. 🌸 About Miura Kaigan’s Kawazu-zakura: This is one of Kanto’s best early spring cherry blossom spots, known for its Kawazu-zakura and rapeseed flower combo. Miura Kaigan Station Komatsugaike Park 📍 2518 Kamimiyada, Minami Shimoura-cho, Miura-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture 2 others ⏰Basically 24 hours 🚗 Temporary parking during cherry blossom season is free from 8:30 💴 🌸 Kawazu cherry blossoms, Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms From Miura Kaigan Station to Komatsugaike Park, about 1.2 km away, Kawazu cherry blossoms and rape blossoms are lined up in a row. In Kanagawa, Matsudayama is famous, but Miura Kaigan is close to the sea and there are not many people, so I highly recommend it! ! There is also a cherry blossom festival, and there are food stalls in the park and in front of the station. I went there around 7:00 a.m. on a weekday, and there were no food stalls, but there were hardly any people and I was able to relax very much! ⚠️Caution⚠️ At the spot where you can take a picture of the train, rape blossoms and Kawazu cherry blossoms from above the tracks, there are notices that prohibit photography and stopping, so please follow them!
