🌸 Kōbōyama: Spring’s Dreamy Pink Filter in Real Life 🌸
#cherryblossom25
Who could resist a whole mountain wrapped in cherry blossoms? 😍
A few days ago, I took the JR train from Nagoya—about two hours—to Matsumoto. The hotel staff recommended Kōbōyama Kofun for cherry blossom viewing, and I’m so glad I went! 🙌
Compared to other popular spots, this one was quiet, peaceful, and almost surreal. The cherry trees here are gigantic (check out photo 10 if you go!), and when you reach the top, you’re surrounded by 4,000 blooming trees, forming a soft pink ocean 🌸🌊
🏞️ Below you lies the calm spread of Matsumoto City, and far in the distance, the snow-covered Japanese Alps complete the breathtaking panorama 🏔️💕
Walking along the paths between the blossoms, you hear the gentle rustle of petals falling, and the sweet fragrance of cherry blossoms fills the air. It’s one of those rare places where you just want to stop, close your eyes, and soak in the moment. Every breath feels like a hug from spring 🌬️🌸
📍 Location: Kōbōyama, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture
📆 Best Viewing: Mid to late April
