#japantrip Kobe emerged as a major city nearby Osaka due to its proximity to the sea as a harbour town. I has a very similar design as Yokohama as both cities are the harbour city in Japan. We were walking around and reached Kobe Harborland to take some very nice night pictures, and the view does not dissapoint us at all. We were very mesmerized by the magnificient night view of Kobe tower and the city from Kobe Harborland, and just sitting down there admiring the seascape is also good enough for a night activity. We will never forget this experience and will definitely do it again when we visit Kobe.

Amazing views. Relatively close walk to JR line. It is a great place for nighttime photos and a good place for a first date. Lotteria is located close by. Delicious burgers.

Taking place over 5 days between Oct 16 and 20, the Kobe Port Fireworks features a daily 10-minute show featuring 15,000 fireworks!🎇 The fireworks are launched from barges located between Kobe Harborland and Port Island, and the most popular (and free) spot to see it is Meriken Park. If you plan to return late, you will need to plan your return trip in another way. 🌆 If you want to focus on shopping, eating, and walking around the Harbour Walk, which is the place where you can see the Kobe Port Tower the most clearly, get off at stop 2 – Harborland (Mosaic). ⛴ If you want to take a boat (Seabus Fantasy), get off at stop 1 – Kamomeria. 🗼 If you want to climb up Kobe Port Tower or see it up close, get off at stop 17 – Nakatottei. However, the tower is currently closed for repairs, so you can’t enter it yet. For those who want to go shopping, visit the museum, you will have to come during the day. But we focused on walking around, taking beautiful pictures, and stopping to eat, so we chose to come in the evening around 5-6 pm because we would be able to see the view both during the day and after the sun sets. We could do a little shopping before the shops closed (shops close at 8 pm). Then we walked around the Harbour Walk to see the view. If we only talk about the waterfront view, it is more beautiful at night than during the day. Both the sea and the surrounding lights make the atmosphere here very romantic, perfect for an evening stroll. It has become a popular spot for young Japanese people and tourists. If you like to travel in any style, try planning a trip. It is another place worth stopping by if you come to visit Kobe.

The historical Kobe Harborland is a must see tourist spot in Kobe, Japan. It is walking distance from Kobe station. A lot of food stalls and restaurants in the area.
