Koh Lanta, Krabi
Koh Lanta is a large island that has been continuously inhabited for over a hundred years. It consists of Koh Lanta Yai and Koh Lanta Noi. Most tourist attractions are on Koh Lanta Yai, while Koh Lanta Noi is home to the Koh Lanta District Office. Due to its distance from the mainland, Koh Lanta still retains the beauty of its beaches and clean seawater. The island also preserves the traditional way of life of its original inhabitants, including Thai Buddhists, Thai Chinese, Thai Muslims, and the Urak Lawoi (sea gypsies), who live together peacefully. The island combines this traditional lifestyle with the development seen around the port and the western beaches, which are bustling with tourists. Visiting Koh Lanta offers a variety of experiences all at once.

An easy to get to and laidback island
#thailandtrip
Koh Lanta is an easy island to get to. I've had several holidays here. It can be clubbed with Krabi and Ao Nang. For shorter stays, you may skip Krabi and head to koh Lanta straight from the Krabi airport. It is about 2 hours. And love that it can be reached without having to get on a boat. There are two major bridges you will pass.
Once in koh Lanta, you're in a very laid back island. Not as crowded as othe backpacker hubs in thailand. Makes for a beautiful holiday with serene beaches and lovely places to stay. #thailandtrip #island #koh lanta #beaches #beachlife #trip

🌊 **Khlong Hin Beach: a paradise on Koh Lanta Island**
Hi there! Today I’d like to share my impressions of one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand — Khlong Hin Beach. It's an ideal place for those seeking solitude and tranquility.

Ko Lanta - The Perfect Balance
#songkran2024
Ko Lanta is a wonderful island to visit. Still not as developed or flashy as places such as Phuket or Ko Samui, but it really has that laidback, rustic charm. Still predominantly local Thai villagers - tourism hasn't totally dominated the island like it has in other parts of Thailand.
Easy to rent a motorbike as there is very little traffic and juat go exploring.

Koh Lanta | The secluded treasure island you start to miss as soon as you leave
Koh Lanta is a beautiful hidden paradise, where 70% of the residents are Muslim, and there is also a very beautiful mosque. If you like quiet, less crowded islands, this is definitely a great destination.
It is an offshore island of Krabi Province in Thailand, located at the southernmost tip, facing Phuket Island across the sea. The island is long and narrow, stretching from north to south. On the west side of Koh Lanta is a 25-kilometer-long coastline, where the beaches from north to south have increasingly finer white sand and fewer and fewer people. On the east side are continuous hills and mountains, where in the depths of the dense mangrove forests, lie quaint, rugged, and mysterious villages of the islanders.
Mu Ko Lanta National Park is the most beautiful place in Koh Lanta, with crystal clear waters and soft, fine sandy beaches, truly possessing the most beautiful seascape!

In addition to island hopping and diving, Koh Lanta is also super fun to explore
🏖️⛱️ Many friends have been privately messaging us, asking what else there is to do on Koh Lanta in Krabi Province besides island hopping and snorkeling. Since we need more time to edit the video materials, we'll first share a photo and text note to introduce a few distinctive activities. Be sure to save it.
1⃣ Koh Lanta has 9 charming beaches, the further south you go, the fewer people there are. As long as the weather is good, you can take beautiful photos anywhere. Plus, they all face west, so you can see the stunning sunset from any spot, and the colors are different at various times. Make sure to catch the sunset!
2⃣ Near Bakantiang Beach, there are many cliffside restaurants that are perfect for taking panoramic and bird's-eye view photos. Even if you don't go to the restaurants, you can find many suitable spots for taking pictures. Recommended! (Be careful for safety)
3⃣ Hotel swimming pools are standard on the island. Choose any hotel close to the beach, and you can capture the beauty of the sea meeting the sky right from the pool!
4⃣ There are a lot of rubber trees on Koh Lanta, and the sap is the raw material for Thai latex pillows. You can visit to broaden your knowledge. Remember to smell it; the scent is definitely intoxicating!
5⃣ On the island, of course, you should drink coconut water. Coconut trees are also standard in beach hotels. If interested, you can ask the staff to experience the joy of picking coconuts together.
6⃣ The southernmost part is the Lanta National Park. The entrance fee for foreigners is 200 Thai Baht for adults, 100 Thai Baht for children, 20 Thai Baht for motorcycles, and 30 Thai Baht for cars. There is a beautiful lighthouse that you can climb, and lovely beaches for swimming.

Off-the-beaten-path guide to Lanta Island, Thailand | You won't want to leave!
Day1 Phi Phi Island → Lanta Island (Last picture)
I took the last speedboat, half an hour, it was windy and wavy that day, I felt very dizzy, I suggest you take the one at around eleven in the morning, the price is also the most affordable, I heard that there is a 10 island fee, but I didn't see anyone collecting it when I got off the boat.
Took a double-bar car to the hotel, one hundred (you can call the hotel in advance, many offer free pick-up)
The hotel I stayed at was a four-star resort, booked in advance for over a hundred, the price on the day of check-in rose to over five hundred, everything was good, there is a private beach behind the hotel, not many people, the scenery is quite good. The roadside shops are very unique, all guarded by cats.
Day2 Lanta Island
Rent a small motorcycle for one hundred and two near the hotel, follow the navigation towards Lanta Old Town, saw many oil shops along the way, bottled, generally forty-one a bottle, two bottles are enough to go around.
Not many people in Lanta Old Town, it's very comfortable to stroll around the small shops, forty-one cups of mango
Ice, sitting by the sea and daydreaming is very comfortable.
Ride towards the National Forest, the road is uphill all the way, occasionally you can see monkeys and monitor lizards on the side of the road
After a section of mountain road is the coastline, the sea is gradient, no tourists
Walk and stop along the way, walk to an unknown hillside, pass a deserted pavilion, the scenery is excellent (pictures ④⑤)
Eat near the hotel, it's a restaurant that has everything, the taste is very good, ate there for two days, the boss is very enthusiastic, knowing that we are Chinese, he output all the Chinese he knew, before leaving he humbly asked how to say: (Is it delicious?) and (Have a good time!) in Chinese, really too friendly
It started to rain heavily in the afternoon of the first day, it rained all night, the original plan was to go to Rok Island the next day, but because the weather forecast was always rain, so decided to go around the island in the morning of the second day, and go to Krabi in the afternoon. Asked the hotel before going out in the morning, there was no boat, only carpooling, four hundred and fifty. One person to Krabi (here to remind everyone, decide the itinerary must book in advance) I returned to the hotel at about one and a half, asked the hotel front desk to book a car, they asked around, the car was full.
Because I had already booked a hotel in Krabi, I thought I had to go to Krabi, 100 by taxi to the pier to try my luck (there are many travel agencies outside the pier) asked around and all the cars were full, finally chartered a car with a little sister for one thousand per person, she went to Krabi airport, I went to Ao Nang Beach nearby...
There was a big traffic jam when leaving Lanta, because there was a section of waterway, the car had to get on a boat to the other side to continue, it was raining all the way, it was already dark when I arrived in Krabi, I suggest everyone to be cautious when traveling alone, pay attention to safety.
If you have plenty of time, I suggest you check the weather, stay in Lanta for two or three days, it's closer to Rok Island from here, the island has good scenery, not many people, very leisurely~

Speaking of the islands of Thailand, perhaps 60% of people will say that Phuket, 30% have heard of Samui, and 10% know about Kami, but it is estimated that 1% of people know Lanta's existence. The beach on the west side of the
Dalanta is located from north to south. The northernmost point is the island pier, and the nearest to the pier is the town of Saladan. The more you go south on the island, the better the beach and the sea. The island of Lanta is still relatively primitive, and there are still fewer people going there.

Thailand's Koh Lanta is located in the southwest of Thailand, about 70 kilometers south of Krabi (Krabi), in the east of Phang Nga Bay in southern Thailand. It is mainly composed of Dalanda and Little Randa. The terrain is strange, extending 27 kilometers to the north and south. It is a mountain range of the prime tropical rain forest. The height difference between the north and the south of the mountain range is 500 meters. The fine sand of the beach is all hard rock.
Come on Koh Lanta, beaches, blue skies, diving, everything makes you completely fall in love with this place, from little known to now one must go to the island

In fact, the national park is almost at the southernmost tip of the island. If it is a novice, the individual is not very recommended to ride a motorcycle. Because there are many ups and downs, especially the road that arrives quickly, it is basically continuous and steep. For those who ride bicycles, I really can only admire the next. We asked for directions twice in a row, saying that there were still ten kilometers. The result was not even for a long time... It was so easy to toss for more than an hour, and finally went to the door, and even charged, even if the motorcycle had to be charged... Tickets 200B / People, motorcycle 20B...
water clear sky blue, in fact, there are several high-end resorts near the National Park, the environment is pretty good, but it is sparsely populated. In other words, interested friends can put the elephant and the national park on the same day, because there is a good elephant camp at the entrance of the park. After all, the southern end of the island is not close, there is no need to run two.

Lanta is located in Krabi, Thailand. Krabi is a government in Thailand (a province of ours). It is located in the south of Thailand, across the sea from Phuket. The island of Lanta is narrow and long, with its ferry terminal at the northern end.
The whole island of Lanta is very large, with a long strip of north-south orientation, much like the descendants of Thailand. To the west is a 25-kilometer coastline. From the north to the south, the white sand is getting thinner and thinner, fewer and fewer people, more and more monkey squirrels, and it takes about an hour to ride a motorcycle. The main mountain is red. The woods and the villages of the Gypsies; the northernmost part is the most prosperous town of Salanda in the whole of Lanta, the southernmost is the national park and the lighthouse, surrounded by the outlying islands.

Resting down comfortably, ushered in the first sunset of Lanta~
Lanta is an outlying island of Krabi Province, Thailand. The reason for planting this island is briefly summarized as follows: 1. People are less beautiful, fresh Known islands 2. Enjoy the famous sunset scenery 3. Snorkel in the blue sea, enjoy the exotic marine life and large coral reefs 4. Many cost-effective hotels to choose from 5. Island It is more primitive, not over-commercialized. 6. Riding a small sheep can travel around the island. 7. The price of the island is lower than other popular islands.

Lanta Island is very long and is known for its long beaches, quiet fortresses and natural beauty of water and water. It is a paradise for beach lovers and scuba divers. There are more people in Europe and America, and there are fewer people in the country. It is very suitable for leisure.
Compared to the crowds in Phuket, it is a lot quieter and there are no foreigners. If you want a quiet and private holiday, come to Lanta. On the island, it is necessary to ferry by car and boat. It is because the traffic is not so convenient, so there are fewer people. The water is beautiful and clean.
