Kluang Mural Street

Kluang is also famous for its Kluang Coffee, and one of the 3-D art painted on the road is a painting of a cup of the brew. People will of course take the obligatory photo of standing or sitting in the coffee cup. Kluang is of course a rail town as well. It is believed there has been a malay village here since 1910 and the British in 1915 set it up to act as an administration centre for Central Johor. The Kluang train station is located right in the town, and an important stop of the West Coast Railway back in the day. This rail heritage is celebrated with a 3-D image of a KTM train emerging from a tunnel, painted onto the road. Laman Kreatif Kluang is a good attempt by a small town to encourage tourism to its vicinity and also create an interest in art among its population. During my 2D1N stay in Kluang, i decided to stop by and check out the vibrant, super cool wall murals that is distributed along the small lanes within the street alleys. It was easily spent more than an hour taking photos along Kluang Mural Street Art and was impressed by the artworks. These artworks reflect local culture, history plus everyday life, turning the area into an open-air gallery. it also has become a significant tourist attraction, contributing to the local economy. This is definitely a spot to include in your itinerary if you are planning to visit Kluang. Highly recommended! #awesomepic#johor

Kluang is known for its coffee, eco farm and of course street art. Kluang art street is about 500m long, at the back alley of 25 Jalan Merdeka, Kluang 86000 Malaysia. This is a must visit, the arts being painted on the wall are painted by locals with their own creativity, making the little town come alive. If you head there after 10+ in the morning, you will be able to see small little shop houses open, selling local traditional food and drinks too!
