In search of the romance of Kyoto once again!!
I regret not being able to see Kyoto on my last trip, so I joined my friends who were going to Japan and went on a romantic trip~!✈️✈️
Unfortunately, I couldn't go to Arashiyama and Kyoto Tower again, but fortunately, I was able to go to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which I couldn't go to last time, and it was so nice. Even though I left Osaka early, it was obviously impossible to see everything in Kyoto in one day ㅜㅜ 😂
If you have a long travel schedule, I recommend staying in Kyoto for about 2 nights!!👍
There are many routes in Kyoto on other YouTube, Instagram, etc., but I personally
1️⃣ I recommend spending a day in Arashiyama🎋,
and walking through the bamboo forest,
and seeing the train passing through the bamboo forest,
and the shrine. I also heard that there is a monkey park in Arashiyama, so I want to go there too.
2️⃣ Kiyomizu-dera👺 If you take your time and look around for about 2 hours,
you can enjoy the Kiyomizu-dera Temple (which appears in Conan and many other animations) in the first and second photos that come to mind when you think of Kyoto from different angles. The admission fee is not expensive, and I remember it was around 5,000-6,000 won, so I definitely recommend going in.
3️⃣ Nishiki Market🍜 When you go to Kyoto, many people recommend this place and it is a place you can't miss. There are many foreigners who come here, so there were many people who could speak basic English, and there are places in Kyoto that recognize QR codes for ordering,
so there was no problem ordering. However, I wanted to eat eel rice bowls, but they were too expensiveㅜㅜ If you ever go to Nishiki Market in Kyoto, I definitely recommend you try it. I really wanted to eat it.
4️⃣ Fushimi Inari Shrine⛩️ Fushimi Inari Shrine, commonly called the Fox Shrine, is the perfect test of courage if you go to the room.
If you go up to a place where there aren't many people, you'll feel a strange atmosphere that makes your hair stand on end. However, since it takes several hours to go around the entire Fox Shrine, I recommend going all the way up if you're traveling long distances.
5️⃣ Kyoto Tower🌆 The entrance fee to Kyoto Tower, which I visited on my last trip, is not expensive, and the staff will take pictures for you when you leave. If you go at night, you can see the night view of Kyoto, so I highly recommend it. However, I remember that the pictures taken by the staff cost about 30,000 won if you wanted to print them in color. It's expensive, but I think it's good to take one as a souvenir.
6️⃣ Kyoto Military Railway 🚃 The Japanese railway, which can be called romantic, was really impressive because the gates would come down and the signals would ring when a train came in, even where cars were passing by. The trains passed more often than I thought in a short period of time, so I didn't get bored waiting for the next train to take pictures. 7️⃣ Kyoto Street🎏 I walked the streets from Kiyomizu-dera to Fushimi Inari Shrine with my friends, and the streets of Kyoto were really leisurely and the feeling of time passing slowly was really nice. I think everyone knows this, but the streets of Japan were really clean and pretty, and it felt like they paid attention to even the paint on the road. Walking along those streets, I thought once again that I made the right decision to travel.
I didn't go around all of Kyoto, but if you want to go around in a short day, not in depth, I recommend going in this order, even if it's just the highlights. You might be more worried than relaxed, but if you still want to see a little bit of everything, I recommend this route again.
That was the end of my Kyoto travel diary~ Have a nice day and I hope it was helpful for your trip!! 🍀🍀
