[Feel the silence of autumn with the autumn leaves at Kozenji Temple in Kiso Fukushima]
"Kozenji Temple", quietly nestled in the mountains of Kiso Fukushima, is a famous spot for autumn leaves that is known only to those in the know. The bright red maples decorate the main hall and gardens, and this place, with its tranquil scenery that can only be seen in autumn, is perfect for a trip where you want to calm your mind. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the autumn leaves at a leisurely pace, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots!
Red leaves falling on the stone-paved approach to the temple, golden maples standing out in the mossy garden... No matter where you look, you will see picturesque scenery. The peak of the autumn leaves is usually around early to mid-November, and the autumn leaves illuminated by the light in the early morning and evening are truly magnificent.
It is relatively empty among tourist spots, so it is a nice place to spend a quiet time. The surrounding area still retains the atmosphere of a post town unique to Kiso, so we recommend taking a stroll around town after seeing the autumn leaves!
