The light of grace spreads throughout the world at the Kim Man-deok Memorial Hall.
The Kim Man-deok Memorial Hall is the first sharing and culture exhibition hall in Korea, and is a sharing space that inherits and practices Kim Man-deok's spirit of sharing and service.
Man-deok lost her parents during her childhood and became a gisaeng, but in an era when the class system was strong, she regained her status as a commoner (woman) and became a merchant.
It contains the spirit of challenge that overcame hardship and adversity.
This is the righteous Kim Man-deok who practiced sharing by giving all her assets as rice to save Jeju residents who were suffering from continuous famine.
What is sharing?
It is giving and receiving time, money, talent, heart, and strength with the heart to love others and live in harmony.
Types of sharing.! 1. Sharing material goods: Donating money or goods that can be valued without compensation to places in need or to help the public welfare.
2. Sharing human goods: We can practice sharing human goods through volunteer activities by providing knowledge, skills, or labor that we have learned to our neighbors in need.
3. Sharing life: Blood donation, organ donation after death, and human tissue donation are available to extend the life and health of people suffering from illness.
