Kilt rock is a sea cliff in the north east of the Trotternish peninsula, because of the kilt-like shape column. The nearest town is Staffin the trails from here are around 3 kilometers 40 minutes,a 15 kilometers 15 minutes drive from Storr. Mealt falls that is 55 metres falling from 60 metres cliff to the sea. Lots of dino footprints on the sign for kids to look at. On site parking will be busy during visiting hours.

Kilt Rock is a magnificent geological formation on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It’s a popular tourist attraction known for its dramatic cliffs & striking resemblance to a pleated kilt, hence the name - Kilt Rock. You can find some dinosaur printings in the area too, hence there’s a Dino Museum in Kilt Rock viewing area. But what brings visitors here is definitely the Mealt Falls, where water plunges from the top of the cliff 90 metres directly into the sea below. It will create a mesmerising sight & an enchanting sound that echoes across the area.
