Khuntan Railway Station 🚂
🗺️ Overview:
Doi Khun Tan National Park can be reached by train and get off at Khun Tan Station. This station is a 1.3-kilometer-long railway tunnel and is also located on the highest railway line in Thailand. The railway station is unique and has a long history. Walking up from the train station, you will find the location of the national park, which is located between Lamphun and Lampang provinces. We can also walk the nature study trail, Y.1-Y.4, to camp at Lan Son and conquer the peak of Doi Khun Tan.
🚂 Travel:
Traveling by train (based on the origin in Bangkok):
-Book tickets online at the State Railway of Thailand (the destination is spelled Khun Tan).
If traveling from Bangkok, change from Hua Lamphong Station to Krungthep Aphiwat Central Station (next to Bang Sue Station).

The recommended schedule will pass through Lampang, allowing you to see the mist and beautiful trains in the morning. And the sunrise

* Seat and sleeper carriage, air-conditioned, 2nd floor: 700-800 baht (recommended lower bed, with large glass)
Seat and fan carriage: 300-400 baht
- Taking the train: It is recommended to wake up and move to the dining room between 06:00-07:00 to enjoy the breeze, view and good atmosphere.
