Michelin-starred restaurant KHAO in Bangkok
As a city lined with Michelin restaurants and snack bars, Khao restaurant was chosen for the second night’s dinner during this three-day and two-night trip to Bangkok. This time the restaurant was booked through the official website, one week in advance, and will receive a WhatsApp from the staff on the day of the meal to confirm the reservation status.
The two of us ordered three dishes and one soup that day, and the overall performance felt that the taste was more intense. If we talk about the degree of liking, I would personally choose the egg yolk fish ball, which is pictured three, for more layers of flavor and mouthfeel.
The other dishes were by and large nothing too stunning, just the sauce was heavier. Among them, curry lamb, feels like Indian curry, but quite served with white rice. Also steamed squid in sour and spicy sauce, many Hong Kong, Macau and Thai restaurants do a similar taste, so there is nothing too novel feeling; but the squid is really fresh. Finally, the shrimp tom yum soup, the shrimp has no frozen taste, and the meat is firm; just the soup is more salty.
Overall, if I had to come again, I would come again because the service was really in place and his food, although there is no memory point, will come again.
Next time, come with your parents to celebrate a birthday or other holiday.
