Karachut Beach
Visited Kerachut Beach a few years ago. It's a one and a half walk through the forest which is part of the National Park of Northern Penang. The easiest way is by bus to Teluk Bahang from George town..or stay overnight in the fishing village and spend some down time.
I also suggest visiting Cat Beach cat Sanctuary where I spent seven weeks working there. it's well worth the visit if you are a cats lover And the cats are very appreciative of human contact. There is also a cat café right on the beach as well for a relaxing few hours and a very worthwhile cause to support.

The sea and sky meet to form a picturesque scene
🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾Kerachut Beach is located in the southwest district of Penang Island, Penang State, Malaysia. It is a treasure land where natural ecology and coastal scenery are perfectly integrated. It is surrounded by lush rainforests, home to many wild animals. The beach has fine sand and the sea is blue, making it a great choice for relaxation and adventure.

The tropical rainforest near the beach is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts, with clearly marked trails. Walking along the trail, you can reach the viewing suspension bridge, where you can overlook the magnificent sea view and the entire rainforest. In addition, this beach is also the nesting ground for green turtles. If you are lucky, you can witness the precious scene of turtles coming ashore to lay eggs.

You can start your hiking trip from the entrance, travel through the rainforest, and admire the rare plants and lively animals along the way. Take a break at the suspension bridge and enjoy the beautiful view. Afterwards, stroll to the beach to enjoy the sunshine and sand. Accommodation and Food [House] [House] [Wine] [Wine]
There is a homestay in Teluk Bahang fishing village nearby where you can experience local life. As for food, there are many seafood restaurants in the fishing village. Seafood dishes such as butter shrimp and steamed grouper are not to be missed. There are also special snacks such as Penang oyster omelette, which has a crispy texture and delicious oyster meat.
Notes [RedHeart][RedHeart][RedHeart]
Check the weather in advance. The roads are slippery on rainy days, which will affect hiking. Wear comfortable sports shoes when hiking and carry mosquito repellent as there are many mosquitoes in the rainforest. Respect turtle protection regulations and do not disturb turtles laying eggs. The ultraviolet rays on the beach are strong, so please take sun protection measures.

Pantai Ker
Pantai Kerachut is Malaysia smallest national park that so many activities can be done here and also a great camp site!
You can hike, it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Pantai Kerachut from the national park entrance or have a boat ride for 20minutes for a small fee. The trek maybe a little muddy but not slippery.
We camp at the camp site for a night, it is so much fun, the sunset and sunrise is stunning. There are also a turtle sanctuary here that can learn alots of things about turtle.
Highly recommended for families and friend for a great outdoor adventure.
