A car took us to the harbor, and a ferry brought us to Nusa Penida. 🚗 🐒 Upon arrival, we negotiated with local drivers and chose to visit three spots, starting with Kelingking Beach. The bumpy ride was worth it for the stunning views of blue water and small islands. The best time to visit Kelingking Beach is first thing in the morning, or late in the afternoon, to avoid the peak heat of the day. The trek up and down can take over an hour one way, and is in direct view of the sun. The easiest options getting to Kelingking Secret Point Beach is to hop on a speedboat from Sanur Beach to Nusa Penida Island. And the island, which are accessible via a 40 to 50-minute boat ride. There are some operators that do speed boat transfers from Sanur Beach to Nusa Penida Island and back. My husband and I just went down to get the experience.
