As luck would have it, March 9th was the last day of the Kawazu cherry blossom season! It was also the last sunny day of the cherry blossom festival, and the beauty was beyond words. Swaying pink flowers spread all over the place, and some branches had new buds, but this did not affect the beauty of the cherry blossoms in full bloom. This time I went to the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival to see the cherry blossoms🌸🌸 The biggest feature here is that the entire river is full of cherry trees! The 2025 Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from February 1st to March 9th, and there are nearly 8,000 Kawazu Sakura trees! Located in Kawazu-cho, Kamo-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, the Kawazu Sakura Namiki is a famous spot where more than 800 Kawazu cherry trees bloom for about 4 km. Kawazu cherry blossoms bloom every year from early February to early March, and can be enjoyed for about a month. This year, they will finally be in full bloom in March! It is expected that there will be more to come. They are characterized by large, deep pink flowers, and bloom earlier than Somei-Yoshino cherry trees, so you can feel the spring a little earlier.    The Kawazu Sakura Festival is held every February, and attracts many tourists. During the festival, the area is lit up at night, allowing you to enjoy the fantastic night cherry blossoms.
