Although taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Sendai is also fast, it is more expensive. The entry and exit of Sendai Airport is the fastest among all the airports in Japan (it may be slower if two international flights arrive at the same time), and there is a railway directly to the city center, with a train every 20 minutes and a 25-27 minute drive. Flying directly to Sendai is a great experience.

The price range is wide and reasonable. There are various options, from a light lunch (around 1,000 yen) to a luxurious dinner set (around 5,000 yen). It comes with several types of sauce, and the staff will tell you the recommended way to eat it. You can also add grated yam for an extra charge. You can enjoy the beef tongue while changing the flavor with the sauce.

This ramen shop is located near Gate 7. You can see the planes and hear the in-flight announcements, so you can kill time while enjoying your ramen! It's a very liberating shop. You order at the register and pay in advance. When you order, the departure time of the flight is confirmed. This was done to ensure that you arrive in time for the in-flight announcement. When I told them I wanted a light ramen🍜, they recommended the shellfish broth. It had a light aftertaste, but I was able to enjoy the rich shellfish flavor while slurping the noodles. Shellfish broth ramen is probably quite rare. I recommend trying their other ramen as well.
