#timetotravel I’m not sure what harder? Getting there or spelling the word? 😉 One thing for sure, I was captivated by its romantic, picturesque sights. I was here on my long wkend stop over from Bled. I would say, it’s one of those cities I exceptionally adore. Love the vibrance on days, and the serenity in the night. Although it may be enough to go around on a day trip, I highly suggest 2-3days to fully immersed the city.

#europetrip I will talk about the service which was really bad, unfriendly and the waiters all of them look really arrogant, it seems that they are not paid well or it was not a good day for them. The hot chocolate was amazing, the wine as well we ordered 4 fromages wraps but you can only taste one type of cheese in it so, why is it called Quattro Fromages. This place just to drink something not to eat I think. The location by the way is perfect.

#europetrip The only cafeteria in town that makes you feel that you live in big city. If you are fan of Vienna urban lifestyle than this is the right place for your daily meetings. Besides very carefully prepared coffe and juices they also organize auctions for antiques and similar collectibles. Staff is very prodessional and educated and it reflex high standard of high class hotel in building.

The staff is very polite and professional. However, I think they could be a bit more efficient. The coffee here is really nice. No sour notes. The 'strength' of the coffee is, I would say, medium. So not a very strong and bitter coffee, but just how I would usually prefer it.

Prices are good, service is excellent. Shout-out to Boris and Rehan for giving good service. We had breakfast here every morning during our stay in lovely Ljubljana. We ordered fried eggs, quiche, and coffee one morning.

The ambience is very cute outside. We ordered coffee and croissants (2). The croissants were a bit dry as we went during their closing timings. The people were extra friendly and very kind people. It's located in the heart of the city, it has all day breakfast options.

We paid €10 for a glass of orange juice, which we definitely think is too much. Nevertheless, good environment and friendly staff. It’s also a Nicely located casual bar right next to the river promenade. Inside is a cool hipster-like library which is very interesting, but you might want to stay at one of the outside tables to enjoy the atmosphere of the city and the nice weather.

#europetrip The place itself is nice, modern and pretty cosy. We didn't wait for a table to clear up but it was pretty crowded. Each of us had different meals as per shown in the picture. For those fasting or vegans there are a few options, one of which is the zucchini aubergine sandwich, which was good but relatively small. The breakfast set was good, as well as the pancakes and the club sandwich. My friend sad that the rog burger was so-so. Overall we were satisfied, not too expensive, but we had a bit of a hard time getting hold of the staff/waiter. I would say it's wheelchair accessible and they have a front yard.

We ordered at the counter and the staff brought the coffee and food to our table. It looks like a small place but there is a lot of seating upstairs. All the food and the coffee was very good. The cost for a specialty coffee experience for two can range from 8 to 10 euros, or even climo up to 25 euros, depending on your choice of brew. The baristas are not only friendly but also exceptionally knowledgeable about the intricate world of coffee. The café itself is beautifully curated, nestled within the City Museum of Ljubljana, which makes for a perfect cultural pairing post-coffee. Do note, the café's cozy ambiance comes with limited seating, so it tends to be quite bustling.

The night scenery from Butcher's Bridge (Zakloniska most) leading to Congress Square (Kongresni Trg) is truly captivating. The cityscape viewed from the bridge exudes a serene atmosphere under the soft lighting, and the classical buildings on both sides of the bridge appear even more majestic under the lights. Walking down from the bridge towards Congress Square, the wide space and surrounding buildings create a mesmerizing night view. The lighting on the Congress building and its front garden gives the impression of reenacting a historical moment, and the peaceful atmosphere flowing through the quiet streets allows you to fully appreciate the charm of Ljubljana. Especially, the distant view of Ljubljana Castle leaves a calm yet strong impression of the night scenery here.

Coming down from the castle, I entered a cozy street from the wide open landscape, and the cobbled streets and old buildings with a medieval feel unfolded. The small cafes and shops along the street welcomed me with warm lights, creating a perfect atmosphere for taking pictures while walking. The moment I moved from the grandeur of the castle to the simple charm of this street, I felt like I discovered another charm of Ljubljana. This romantic alley that I came across on my way down was a beautiful street where I could see the leisurely pace of Europeans.
