Izu Imaihama Tokyu Hotel Royal Suite Accommodation Review✨
This time I stayed in the Royal Suite Room at Izu Imaihama Tokyu Hotel.
Izu Imaihama Tokyu Hotel opened in April 1988. At the time it was called Imaihama Tokyu Resort, but in 2015 Tokyu Resort was renamed Tokyu Hotel and Tokyu Hotel & Resorts due to the brand integration, and was reborn as the current Izu Imaihama Tokyu Hotel.
I have stayed at hotels such as Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel, Hakata Excel Hotel Tokyu, and Kyu-Karuizawa Kikyo Curio Collection by Hilton (operated by franchise hotel Tokyu Resort Services), and the service of the Tokyu Group hotels was really great, so I was looking forward to this time as well.
The hotel is located on the seafront in Kawazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is easily accessible, about a 5-minute walk from Izukyu Electric Railway Imaihama Kaigan Station! There is also a free shuttle bus from Kawazu Station, where the Limited Express Odoriko and Saphir Odoriko stop, so it is also very accessible! The lobby floor is decorated with Christmas trees and other things, so you can feel the winter season!
The Royal Suite Room is located on the corner of the 8th floor, the top floor of the hotel. It is 115.5 m2 in size, has twin beds, and is the only room in the hotel with a view bath overlooking the sea. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Many rooms in this hotel have balconies with sea views, but the balcony of the Royal Suite is larger than the other rooms and is on the top floor, and there are chairs so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful Sagami Bay!
The morning sun rises from the sea side, so it's a little cold in winter, but it's nice to get up early and watch the sunrise.
The hotel has a large public bath, and guests can enjoy the hot springs (there is also an open-air bath with a view of the sea), sauna, etc. for free! The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the large public bath were made by POLA!
*The amenities in the photo are made by BVLGARI and were given as a welcome gift.
Overall, it was a really wonderful stay. I was very satisfied with the room, the hot spring, the breakfast, and the service of the staff!
Even though it is in Shizuoka Prefecture, it is located in the southern part, so it is far from Atami, but please try it when you visit.
