[Kagawa] Kannonji, the town of Zenigata sand paintings
#Spring0yenTrip
First, at Kannonji Temple, we went to see the famous coin-shaped sand painting "Kan'ei Tsūhō" at Kotohiki Park. Looking down from the observation deck, the huge sand painting appeared clearly, and I couldn't help but gasp at its scale. People who have seen it have said that it "will never be short of money," so it seemed to have some kind of good fortune. Next, we visited Kannonji Temple, the 69th temple of the 88 sacred places of Shikoku. There was a calm atmosphere typical of an ancient temple, and we took our time looking around the splendid main hall, Niomon Gate, bell tower, and more. This temple, which the town is named after, was a warm place where you could feel the faith of the local people.
