📍Sekinoo Falls/Sekinoo Park 🌟I was able to walk from the parking lot to the falls without any steep slopes. The sidewalk is well-maintained to the point where the falls can be seen, so even a wheelchair could go. The suspension bridge wobbles a little, but it is stable and wide enough to cross. It feels great to see the water splashing at you. If you turn your back to the falls and look at the river surface right in the middle of the suspension bridge, you will see a heart-shaped moss-covered rock. After bathing in negative ions, you can eat delicious food at the newly opened cafe and restaurant. One of our favorite spots in Miyazaki, Southern Kyushu - Takachiho Ranch💓💓💓 Here you can get close to cows, sheep and horses. For those of us living in the city, it is a great experience of nature! The animals are very cute and well-behaved 😛 The scenery of Takachiho Ranch itself is also beautiful and fascinating. The vast grassland makes people forget their worries and feel refreshed. There is also free milking experience on Saturdays and Sundays, but it’s a pity that I missed it this time. Of course you have to drink a bottle of ranch milk when you come here. Although it is available in supermarkets, the milk you drink at the ranch is the freshest and tastes the best😌A must try☺️ The transportation to the ranch is very convenient. You can take the Takasaki bus of Miyazaki Kotsu from Kirishima Jingu Shrine and arrive at Takachiho Ranch in 7 minutes. Here are some of the main ones: History and Culture - Kirishima Shrine: The largest shrine in southern Kyushu, it was built in the 6th century and has a rich cultural heritage and ancient history. It enshrines Ninigi-no-Mikoto, the central figure in Japan's founding myths. The shrine has a giant sacred tree that is 800 years old. The architecture is mainly vermilion, with red-lacquered, gold-topped beams and pillars, brightly colored reliefs, and the largest torii gate in western Japan, allowing visitors to experience a rich, classical Japanese style.  - Kareigawa Station: The oldest station in Kyushu, it is also an unmanned station still in use today, having started operations in 1903. Yakiniku Mihiro (Miyakonojo) My favorite yakiniku restaurant that I always go to when I go to Miyazaki. You can enjoy high-quality A5 Miyazaki beef! 🐃 Although it is a yakiniku restaurant, I really recommend the sukiyaki. The balance of fat and lean meat is perfect. Once you eat it, you'll definitely want to go back. It may be a little pricey, but if you go to Miyazaki, please try it ^^

#Travelwithme In April of this year, I enjoyed cherry blossom viewing at Kannonike Park in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture. I was surprised that such a large park exists for free. There are many cherry trees in the park, and the sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom spreading all over the place was truly overwhelming. Walking leisurely and enjoying the cherry blossom petals falling in the air was truly relaxing. I also recommend laying out a picnic sheet, spreading out your lunch, and relaxing. Kannonike Park is a spot that can be enjoyed by families and friends, and is the perfect place to enjoy a spring moment. If you have a chance to visit Miyakonojo City, be sure to visit!

When it comes to Miyazaki Prefecture, your first instinct is to think of a sunny climate with blue sea and blue sky. However, it is also known for its numerous cherry blossom trees. While the cherry blossoms at Mother Chichio are well-known, there is a parking fee of 500 yen, so Kannonike Park is highly recommended instead. The park features a long avenue lined with cherry trees, and the spacious park is planted with cherry blossoms everywhere. It was a weekday, but many people were enjoying hanami, laying out leisure sheets and eating lunch under the fully bloomed cherry blossoms. The weather was perfect for cherry blossom viewing, with clear skies and peak bloom. The mountains visible from Kannonike Park were also covered with cherry blossoms on their slopes, turning the entire mountain a light pink, which was truly beautiful.

#tourist spot A trip to southern Kyushu in mid-March. We left Kirishima Kanko Hotel and headed to Miyazaki. On the way, we stopped off at Sekinoo Falls in Miyakonojo. Due to lack of research, we happened to see a sign and decided to stop by, but when we got closer, it was very impressive. There was a beautiful rainbow. It was undergoing renovation work until May 2023, so we couldn't get very close, but there was also a suspension bridge. I wonder if the work will be finished soon. Takachiho-no-mine is at the very edge of the Kirishima mountain range, which towers over the border between Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures. There is an anecdote that Sakamoto Ryoma and his wife visited the mountain on their honeymoon and pulled out the sakahoko (a spear) at the top of the mountain. As it is a volcano, it goes without saying that extreme caution is required, and many parts of the slope are made of gravel, so you will need to brace yourself. Nevertheless, the view from the summit is exceptional. With nothing blocking the view, you can see all the way to Sakurajima in the distance.
