[2025 Nikko Attraction] Travel Guide for Kanmangafuchi Abyss (Updated May)

Nikko, a World Heritage city in Japan, is located about 140 kilometers from Tokyo. Don't forget to try the fried buns, they are very delicious. For traveling within Nikko, you can purchase a Nikko Pass which allows free rides on trains and buses, and also offers discounts on entrance fees to various attractions.

The gorge that can be enjoyed following a not-too-difficult trail has a series of stone statues along its path, watching the river and protecting the dead. You'll start seeing the first examples soon after you cross the entrance gate. Keep walking for the most picturesque part with a series of statues forming an arch and lending themselves to some nice pictures. I wish to travel more in 2024
