📝 Personal Experience
KaLui was the most unforgettable dining experience during my trip to Puerto Princesa. The restaurant is housed in a traditional Filipino wooden structure, and guests are required to remove their shoes before entering, walking barefoot on the smooth wooden floors, which gives a homely feeling. The interior is adorned with paintings and handicrafts by local artists, creating a warm and artistic dining atmosphere.
We ordered the "KaLui Special of the Day," which included appetizers, vegetable dishes, shrimp, fish fillet, coconut milk fish rolls, and rice, followed by a fresh fruit platter as dessert. Each dish showcased the freshness of the ingredients and the chef's dedication, especially the coconut milk fish rolls, which were rich and creamy, leaving a lasting impression.
Additionally, the restaurant offers a variety of juices and cocktails, enhancing the flavors of the meal. Overall, KaLui not only serves delicious seafood but also allows guests to experience the charm of Filipino culture.
