Japan's niche tourist attraction - Hexian Creek!
A small guide to Japan's niche tourist attractions-Hexianxi ‼ ️
During the autumn leaf season, since I didn't want to go to cities with large crowds like Kyoto, I asked a PhD friend who was studying in Japan to recommend a place where locals could relax and vacation, Kaga Onsen Village in Ishikawa Prefecture. I really loved it.
About transportation:
1️⃣. Beijing-Tokyo, Tokyo-Ishikawa Prefecture Komatsu Airport in 1.5 hours (you can also take the Shinkansen in Tokyo, about 500 kilometers);
2️⃣. There are 2 direct flights from Shanghai to Komatsu Airport every week;
3️⃣. Take a bus or JR train from Komatsu Airport to Kaga Onsen Station, which only takes 2️⃣0️⃣ minutes;
It is recommended to rest and adjust for one night, and reserve a day for Hexian Creek the next day;
Take bus No. 1️⃣ from Kaga Onsen Station to Tsurusenkyo, which takes about 4️⃣0️⃣ minutes and costs 430 yen;
It takes about 2-3 hours to visit the Hexianxi scenic spot. The scenery is very beautiful and there are few people. What you need to pay attention to is that the road is quite slippery. I was very lucky this time and even encountered a super cute little snake on the road. There is also a riverbed tent in the middle of the mountain stream where you can rest. The iced matcha is super delicious, I recommend trying it.
When you come to Kaga, you must experience the very famous hot spring. After playing, you can walk for about ten minutes along the map to Kiku-no-Yu (the oldest hot spring in the area). If you don’t bring your own toiletries, you can buy them at the self-service vending machine.
After taking a bath, you can take the return bus back to Kaga Onsen JR Line. Remember to check the bus departure time, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time.
This is also my first time riding a bus in Japan. Remember to take the ticket when you get on the bus, and put it in with coins when you get off. Don't worry if you don't have change, there is a money change machine on the bus 🚌 (it says two changes)
