Kanshuji Temple is a temple located in Yamashina District, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, and the Shingon sect of Shanjie Damoto Mountain. The name of the mountain is "Mt. Tortoiseshell". The main deity Thousand-handed Avalokitesvara, Kaiji (the founder) is Emperor Daigo, and Kaishan (the first abbot) is Chengjun.
