Shinminato Bridge in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture I had some time on a trip to Toyama City, so I stopped by. Shinminato Bridge is a very large and impressive bridge, and if the weather is good, it's the perfect location for a drive, and it was a pleasant experience to drive across. Toyama is famous for its black ramen as a local ramen!! Among them, "Menya Iroha Imizu Main Branch" seems to be a popular store. The first one is the crab and scallop bowl, 2500 yen (with tea) at the shop on the left hand side inside Shinminato Kitto Market. The crab was really fresh, full of flavor, and the big scallops were plump and delicious 🦀😋 The second one is the shop in the 4th and 5th photos, Hamayaki to Ozake Isoaburi. This shop is about 8 minutes walk from Toyama Station. I had the Hamayaki and it was so delicious! The shellfish were packed with big pieces and very satisfying! Clams 680 yen, grilled turban shells 780 yen, grilled squid 550 yen 🦑 The taste was very good and the staff was very kind 💕 The third recommendation is Uodon-tei. I had 8 kinds of Toyama Bay seafood bowls 🐟 The price was about 2500 yen So much for such a low price! ? #thingstodo Nice tourist attraction. There is a pedestrian underpass accessible by elevator from each side of the bridge. There are restrooms at ground level on each side as well as ample free parking. The underpass had different hours in summer and winter. It's not open 24 hours a day. Free to visit and to drive across.

Oshimakitano Kasen Park is a park and a garden. It is located at Oshimakitano, Imizu in Toyama. There were only few people when we went there during summer. This place is wide and there are BBQ tents. This park is perfect for BBQ getaways or picnic with friends and family. We brought food to the park and played games while BBQing. The park has a ground golf course as well. You can find toilets around the area. There are many parking lots, and I think it cost 500 yen per hour. #familytrip #park #picnic #foodie

Since its launch on February 14, 1930, it has sailed 1.06 million nautical miles (about 50 times around the earth) in 59 years and trained 11,190 young people of the sea. At Kaiwomaru Park, the Kaiwomaru is open to the public as it was when it was in service. Kaiwomaru Park has been designated as a "Sacred Place for Lovers" in honor of Valentine's Day, since the park's symbol, the "Sailboat Kaiwomaru," was launched on February 14. To commemorate the "Sailboat Kaiwomaru" being recognized as a ship heritage, we are running the "Kaiwomaru Power Spot of Happiness Series."
