I stayed in the Temple View One-Bedroom Twin Room. The modern minimalist design style is stylish and Minnan style.

The most eye-catching design hotel this year is staying in a department store. After a year, I came to Quanzhou to fulfill my wish.
I also stayed in this year’s latest design hotel!
Unexpectedly, such a new design can be completed in the center of the old city of Quanzhou. This building was originally a department store in Quanzhou (the signs are still there), and is now a hotel with 48 rooms: Qixu Bell Tower
It retains the imprint of the department store’s times and incorporates Quanzhou’s southern Fujian elements. Red bricks, paper lanterns, and Dehua white porcelain are naturally integrated throughout.
This location is really amazing. From the quiet and comfortable room downstairs, you can directly step into the most prosperous and lively West Street.

Quanzhou | Qixu Reef Rock arranged a two-day tour of Quanzhou
Stayed at the Qixu Bell Tower in the city center, which is conveniently located right above Xijie with great service. There's a boutique and Bar downstairs, and the cocktails are good too. The room is standard, and there's a wide selection for breakfast. I recommend the newly opened Qixu Reef Rock hotel on the second day
It's about 50 kilometers from the city center, but fortunately, the hotel arranges transfers
I really like the style. There's almost no commerce nearby, but there are seafood stalls. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach for clamming and playing in the water. Taking photos on the reef rocks is also nice. I chose a poolside one-bedroom with a good view and a balcony. However, probably because it's newly opened, there are fewer dining options
Overall, it's still worth recommending

-The check-in experience is superb, with traditional snacks such as tea treats and lard soft candy (which have a very special texture) provided upon arrival, and they even give you a small floral bracelet, adding a real sense of ceremony!
-The hotel room facilities are also a pleasant surprise, with high-quality toiletries from Wenxian (truly tasteful), and designer tea sets, mirrors, chairs, and carpets that add a touch of class. Xie Ke's new work, a new member of SLH, the best located and most expensive hotel in Quanzhou!
I've been to Quanzhou too many times. This time I returned to Quanzhou mainly because of the newly opened Quanzhou Qixu Bell Tower (Kaipuu Belfry) Hotel. Qixu is a new brand launched by Qishang, named after the Finnish word kaukokaipuu, expressing a strong longing for a land never set foot on. As the first hotel in the Qixu series, it is quite impressive. The building where the hotel is located was formerly the historic building 'Bell Tower Department Store' in Quanzhou, with an impeccable location, next to the West Street Bell Tower, overlooking the East and West Towers of Quanzhou Kaiyuan Temple, it is the most characterful hotel in Quanzhou city.
1. The hotel's interior design is from Chinese designer Xie Ke, who is also responsible for the building's renovation, which is quite a test of his skills. I personally really like Xie Ke's design, I have stayed in several hotels he designed in Yunnan, which always bring me subtle, small touches;
2. This one is no exception, many details are almost perfect. He describes this hotel project as a 'journey through time', providing guests with more open, interactive, and compatible services in the cross-view of Eastern and Western cultures;
3. The entire design uses exquisite materials, the details are perfect, and the local elements of Quanzhou are presented in full. For example, the paper lanterns at the elevator in the lobby on the first floor are Quanzhou's intangible cultural heritage handcrafts, decorated in a modern way, giving them new vitality. The inspiration for the side tables in the guest rooms comes from the unique local patterns presented after the red material is fired in the Quanzhou Magnetic Kiln. Other elements like Quanzhou tin carving, Dehua white porcelain, are all meticulously displayed;
4. The guest rooms have a nostalgic atmosphere and modern bright colors, with a total of 48 rooms & suites. The hardware is perfect and outstanding, Dyson hair dryer, automatic toilet, studio KAE's tea set, flower vase, Xiamen local tea brand BASAO's tea bags, Japanese coffee brand Blendy's drip coffee, Axent bathroom, domestic new fragrance brand Wenxian DOCUMENTS bath products, Geneva Bluetooth speaker, Fellow hand pot, KING KOIL mattress, etc., all show quality. What's thoughtful is that the room is also equipped with a full box of face towels, which is not common in other hotels. The color of the bath towels and bathrobes is also very appealing to me, it is a fresh and natural green, which adds a bright touch to the living space;

In addition to the basic function of accommodation, Qixu Bell Tower also introduces a buyer's shop on the first floor, a cross-border bar brand BAR LOTUS that combines fashion and lifestyle on the sixth floor, incubates the restaurant brand Bivalve Shell and the terrace lobby bar Zhongting 1934, making the experience more diverse and rich. At present, Zhongting 1934 can serve coffee, tea, desserts, etc., and is a star check-in place for the hotel. Here you can steal half a day of leisure while enjoying the view of West Street and Kaiyuan Temple.
6. As the only boutique lifestyle hotel brand in Quanzhou city at present, Qixu Bell Tower has joined the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). It has been open for less than three months, the service is very good, looking forward to growing better.
