A countryside house surrounded by bamboo forests and mountain streams | Anji Kaichen Xixinlu
"Picking chrysanthemums under the eastern fence, I gaze at the southern mountains." This is the life many people yearn for. Hengyuanli Natural Village in Henglu Village, Tianhuangping Town, is a little-known village. By coincidence, the owner of Xixinlu, a native of Anji, discovered several rammed earth houses at the highest point of the village and spent a fortune to create a real-life version of the idyllic life described in ancient Chinese poetry - Kaichen Xixinlu.

The Xixinlu you see today features double-eaved roofs and modern minimalist white walls. Twelve buildings are scattered among the mountains and streams. The guesthouse was designed by a designer from the China Academy of Art and converted from rammed earth houses. The rooms are warm in winter and cool in summer, with a strong rural atmosphere. The white walls, blue tiles, and double eaves blend traditional Jiangnan style with modern minimalist style. The half-hidden paths lead to secluded spots.
