Stayed at the elegant and upscale #HanoiJWMarriott Hotel. When I took a grab there, I was almost scared by the exterior of the JW. I thought it was the terminal building! The building looks like it is made up of stacked glass blocks, with each block facing a different direction. The gym is located in the middle. It is pretty cool to exercise in a transparent space with a 180-degree circular view! I checked in at the executive lounge. The resting space was very elegant. The waitress brought me coffee. After taking a sip, I blurted out: JW’s coffee is much better than Sheraton’s! The waitress was delighted to hear this and immediately asked if he wanted another drink. The city view double room comes with a bathtub and is spacious, with an area of ​​48 square meters. Because the entire JW Marriott hotel park is so large, it seems to be built on a golf lawn. Although the floor is not high, the view is vast and excellent. The room rate for two people per night is NT$7,500, with an additional NT$1,000 for breakfast, which is expensive considering the price of accommodation in Vietnam! JW exudes an overall sense of luxury. The lobby is high and imposing, and the gym and swimming pool have excellent views. The standard-sized swimming pool is equipped with glass curtains on the sides and top, making it very transparent and bright. The buffet area is also great. The Happy Hour dining area has a lot of variety. The rice noodles are cooked to order and taste just as good as street food. If there is a disadvantage, it is the geographical location. JW is quite far from the old city and the West Lake Scenic Area. There are only large conference venues and exhibition halls around it, and there are not even convenience stores. Also, I could enjoy the club lounge while looking at the night view of the lake outside, and there were many different types of food, so I stayed there all evening. Since it is a hotel frequented by many Koreans, there were many Korean foods, so it was a very welcome lounge for me, who lives abroad.
