#penang Jurassic Research Center @The Top Penang is located at 1 Komtar, 10100 Georgetown, and is open Wednesday to Monday from 1100-1900. It is only a minute or two walk from Komtar bus terminal. Jurassic Research Center @The Top Penang is created to educate and entertain, the center has informative exhibits on paleontology, from displays of fossils to replicas of excavation sites. It brings almost 200 dinosaurs like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Pteranodon and more back to life with the help of the latest animatronics technology to create a hands-on interactive activity centre of epic proportions.

Place for us to learn about dinosaur, their 'fake' dinosaur look quite real. There are a lot of dinosaur with movement and sound when you pass by each of them. Friendly staff and clean environment. A good place for you to capture some photos. They have timing to follow to enter the Jurassic Research Center. 🦖 Small but interesting. Could be a bit longer as it took us about 20 minutes to walk through. They only allow 2 entries per hour usually on and half past the hour. You get more value for your money if the top pass is purchased instead of single entrance to this exhibit. 👣 We had lots of fun taking pictures and enjoyed the show. especially with baby dino that just hatched in the laboratory. A surprisingly real display of Jurassic beasts with a good touch of motion added into all the display models which actually moves in anticipation of your presence. Animals are surreal and are soft to touch unlike most similar parks which the models are all made of fibreglass. Provides a really fantastic selfie and photography opportunity to all visitors with a good visual reality studio walk through at the end. Also include a mock up fossil museum which is really cool. The indoor centre is quite huge, took us some time to finish all the sections. Lots of life sized dinosaurs can be found moving & making sounds. The best spot for us is the ruined lab centre with lots of Velociraptors around, it’s quite interactive as you can find your own way out by opening the safety doors yourself. It is very educational, informative and fun for kids and adults. We requested for one of the worker there to follow us around to get more information regarding dinosaurs and archeology related. He's very insightful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend it. A pretty good experience overall. This quite a nice place for dinasour lover, which quite similar feel with the movie Jurassic Park. If the park able to let the visitor visit on night time it is quite a nice experience. #topjurassicpark
