#singapore A household name loved by both us locals and tourist. I always look forward to dining at JUMBO seafood with my family and friends. Here is what we ordered: 1. Drunken prawn — 5/5 I love this dish so much its a classic and the super is very homely. 2. Taro scallop — 2/5 Not a big fan of the taro with the scallop but the scallop is fresh. 3. Stirfry asparagus & scallops 4. Fried rice — 5/5 A classic could not go wrong! 💜 5. Tofu & Mushroom — 5/5 ⭐️ The highlight!!!! I could not get enough of this dish, the tofu is fried to perfection with a crispy outerskin & a silky soft inside. It pairs really well with the mushroom. 6. Fresh steam fish — 5/5 Love how fresh the fish was, a must have when visiting JUMBO 7. Stirfry broccoli — 4/5 Nothing special, but a light and refreshing dish to help cleanse your palette 💚 If it's your first time visiting JUMBO remember to make a reservation as they're always quite full. They do have a few different outlets around singapore, but the one we visited was in east coast park.

We decided to have our family dinner here on the first day of Lunar New Year. The restaurant had a lovely view of the sea where you can watch airplanes landing in the distance. We ordered: 1. Homemade vegetable beancurd braised with crab meat - 10/10 The beancurd was soft and silky and the sauce was thick and flavourful. One of my favourite appetisers. 2. Scallops wrapped with yam ring - 8/10 This dish have a really nice balance in texture but personally I'm not a fan of the yam ring. It was a little dry. 3. Scallops with vegetables - 10/10 The scallops were cooked to perfection. Great texture and flavour. 4. Drunken prawns - 10/10 The prawn was sweet and crunchy! The shell falls off the prawn so easily! 5. Egg fried rice with shrimp - 10/10 A must order at every Chinese restaurant! 6. Soya sauce steam fish - 3/10 The fish had great texture but the sauce was lacking flavours. 7. Black pepper crab - 10/10 Jumbo is known for their crabs and it delivers! The crab was sweet and meaty! The sauce was very buttery and peppery. 8. Yu Sheng - 8/10 it came complimentary with the Lunar New Year offer. The flavour and texture was well balanced but the fish didn't smell fresh. Overall great place for a family gathering over the Lunar New Year. #yearofrabbit

This restaurant never fails it's valued customers in terms of food quality and variety of dishes. It's chilli crab is the signature dish using Sri Lankan crab weighing at least 1 kg per crab. By looking at it's claw one can imagine how much flesh the crab possesses and how satisfying after consuming one of these. Do not forget to mop the sauce using the fried buns. Price is of course at a higher side but by judging the quality of the dishes one can never forget the experience. There are other dishes such as mocha pork ribs, fried scallop, mee goreng etc to accompany the 8 legged sea creature. #chillicrab#jumboseafood

#springitinerary Had dinner at jumbo seafood at east coast with my family members. The food here was very delicious and flavorful. My favorite was their chilli crab which was very fresh and also the black pepper crab. Other dishes like their salted egg prawns were also very tasty. Overall good vibes and will recommend! If you have a big group please remember to reserve seats beforehand. Do try out if you haven’t been here!

I recently spent 4 unforgettable days in Singapore, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The city is vibrant, clean, and full of exciting attractions — perfect for a short getaway! Gardens by the Bay was one of the highlights of the trip. The Supertree Grove was absolutely stunning, especially at night when the trees lit up in a mesmerizing light show. The Cloud Forest and Flower Dome were equally impressive — the indoor waterfall and lush greenery made it feel like stepping into another world. It’s a must-visit for anyone coming to Singapore. Another memorable experience was the Singapore Zoo. It’s one of the best zoos I’ve visited — beautifully designed, with spacious enclosures and a strong focus on conservation. The animals looked healthy and well cared for, and I really enjoyed the close-up encounters. The rainforest-themed layout made the whole experience feel immersive and natural. Of course, a trip to Singapore wouldn’t be complete without trying the famous chili crab, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The rich, spicy sauce was incredibly flavorful, and the crab was fresh and juicy. It’s a bit messy to eat, but totally worth it. I highly recommend trying it at Jumbo Seafood at East Coast! Overall, this trip was a perfect mix of nature, wildlife, and delicious food. Singapore may be small, but it has so much to offer.
