Unplan trip to Hanamomo-no-Sato!! You all know , I don’t like crowded place and always try to look out for peaceful and remote places doesn’t matter how far I need to work 😆😆!! Then I came to know this little secret place. Is not so straightforward journey like other places . I need to take train from Sendai to Fukushima by JR line ( covered by JR pass ) , then change to local private line called Iizaka railway- 370 ¥ one way (cute and very old local private train line - solely that small region) and took until terminal and walk about 20 mins to the place . But , they have small map to the place and along the road have signage to guide you the direction . When you are near, there were some volunteers guiding along the traffic. It was really local small place to enjoy late flowers . It will be very beautiful in few days time , even now was beautiful to me . Some colourful cherry plus peach flowers combined and the mountains background make me paradise!! And you don’t need to pay anything . They sell some local delicacies and I enjoy some tea and walk around , sat down and enjoy flowers and walked back to the station. It took me half day. Iwaya Kannon is a temple rebuilt by Terumoto Mori. The hall is an important cultural property designated by the state. Azuma Sports Park in Fukushima Prefecture is a beautiful place during the fall when the leaves change color. The leaves change into beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow, giving the park a breathtaking atmosphere. Enjoy taking pictures. There is a world outside of Japan. You can get there by car, and there's no need to climb a mountain. It's a place you should visit at least once in your life. The autumn leaves are beautiful at this time of year, and it's also known as Tengu's garden. The road will be closed for the winter in mid-November, so now is your last chance to go this year, and if you miss it, you won't be able to go again until around May. There are also hot springs nearby where you can soothe your tired body, so I recommend going there. Takayu Onsen in particular is known as a beauty bath and is definitely worth a dip in.

When I saw Kamanuma, I also hiked Mt. Issaikyo to see the Witch's Eye (Goshiki-numa) 🥾 ~ ... If you take a 1-hour break at the top, you can come back in about 4 hours round trip!!! I parked my car at Jododaira on the Bandai-Azuma Skyline and went hiking in Kamanuma in Fukushima Prefecture. 🥾 ~~~~~~~~ 🌱What is Kamanuma? ~~~~~~~~ It is a swamp in Bandai-Asahi National Park, and is called "Kamanuma" because its shape resembles a sickle! It is located at an altitude of 1,770m, so to get to Kamanuma, you have to climb a slightly steep slope, climb some large rocks, and do some light mountain climbing. 🙆♀️ When going to Kamanuma, you need to wear mountain climbing clothes and shoes! 〜〜〜〜〜〜〜 ⛰️Time required 〜〜〜〜〜〜〜 After about an hour of hiking (some flat roads) from Jododaira, where we parked the car, to Kamanuma, we arrived!!! In this travel I want introduce Ouchijuku, located twenty minutes south of Aizu-Wakamatsu.From Aizu-Wakamatsu Station, take the train down to Yunokamionsen Station.From here take the bus to Ouchijuku where you will be surrounded by massive hills. Ouchijuku sits on a plain full of rice patties and fields. One of the main attractions is not the buildings but the views of the village from the lookout point. Walk up the steep steps to find yourself in a forest. Follow the path and you will find something amazing. This view changes by the seasons but when I was here in late October the leaves were still green. Other than the darn hydro towers in the far distance, the view is worth a million bucks. #fallingseason
