Do visit there during the evening time on the weekends .The busy street would start to get busier when it reaches 6pm onwards. You can try out the local street food there at an amazing affordable price. There are also a wide range of food cuisine for you to choose from. Be sure to visit there.

#malaccatrip Decided to head to malacca after watching local drama little Nonya emerald hill. Went to eat nice nonya food, visit beautiful architecture buildings which goes a long way . Really eye opening and it feels like we travel back to the olden days. Will come back again for the nice food and beautiful places.

Over the weekend, we took a delightful trip to Malacca with the kiddos. One of the highlights was our night-time visit to the lively Jonker Street, where we wandered through the colorful stalls filled with local treats, souvenirs, and music. We had dinner at one of the Baba Nyonya restaurant called : Kocik Heritage Nyonya Restaurant. Food was good ! First time self-driving trip to Malacca, relieved the impression of 🔓Malaysia🇲🇾. Malaysia is a big place with many Chinese shops and restaurants. Different cultures coexist here and it feels harmonious 🙂 The Jonker Street Night Market is open from 6pm to 12pm on Fridays and Sundays and is very lively. There are many different snacks and stalls, it's worth a visit 😙 Chris Church Melaka was built in 1753. It adds a lot of color when lit up at night. Next to the entrance of the night market there is a San Shu Gong shop where you can buy souvenirs at reasonable prices. It is recommended not to eat dinner. You can find a lot of delicious food at the night market stalls. If you want to sit down and eat slowly, there are some food stalls on the other side where you can sit down and eat. The coconut stall next to Sanshugong sells coconut shaved ice cream for RM5, it is cheap and delicious😋 The next day, we went to Yuan Kee Tea Restaurant to taste authentic Malay food: fried chicken 🍗 coconut sauce rice, laksa noodles, braised pork rice, all at affordable prices; Birkin's coconut milk jelly is amazing 👍🏻 The hygge shop is loved by young people. There are comfortable sofas and books on the upper floor to relax. Although the shop is small, the stickers and postcards are very powerful The upside-down house is very small, so find a cheap place to take pictures and have fun Fun Park is suitable for younger children, and there is a beach nearby for playing in the sand Overall, it was clean and comfortable. Jonker night market is a must go even for repeat visitors on Fri-Sun night only. It’s so colorful, lively n buzzing with people n activities. Adjacent to Jonker is Tan Cheng Luck street which houses many Nonya restaurants, museum n disappearing architecture. Plenty of street food. There’s also Hard Rock Cafe, colorful trishaws n river cruise. My favorite night haunt is Gravy Baby pub/cafe situated by the malacca river. Grab a table by the river side with your loved one for a romantic atmosphere n mood. For the Nonya restaurants, for non Muslims, you may want to clarify if restaurant is halal? Without pork n by products, tastes is just not wow! Night market not open mon-thur. But it’s still worth visiting for the above mentioned activities, without the crowd. Many still go shopping for the tidbits, pastries n local delicacies regardless day of the week!

There are so many things, walking until you are tired. There are so many food and souvenirs. It is a bit hot but I am brave. Sit and rest while walking. I recommend this place.
