I have traveled around the world but I never saw the wrong information during the boarding process. On the way from Nairobi to the Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines on the screen above check in shows KLM airlines information. I spot that some tourists have been more confused than me. this airport deserves huge minus and bad review. avoid this airport if you can on your global travel

Kenya|Nairobi International Airport🇰🇪
Although the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is not very large, it has complete facilities and is quite comfortable for short to medium-term transfers. The airport has duty-free shops, restaurants and private VIP lounges, allowing passengers to spend their waiting time comfortably.
I particularly like the patterns of African animals on the large glass in the waiting room, which blends in local customs without losing its beauty. The sunlight shines through, making the whole space look warm and bright, which is very distinctive. Some areas are also equipped with charging stations and simple reclining chairs. Although the number is limited, you can feel the thoughtful consideration for transit passengers.
It should be noted that connecting flights may sometimes be delayed due to heavy traffic at the airport, so it is recommended to leave ample time to avoid missing the subsequent flight. However, in Africa, this is an airport with relatively good service and management performance.

Kenya entry information
I entered Kenya on Ethiopian Airlines. Until recently, Japanese people could enter the country with an arrival visa, but now you need to get an eVisa in advance online.
The visa is quite complicated, and you need to fill out detailed information about how you will enter and leave the country. For example, if you enter the country on Ethiopian Airlines and leave Tanzania by land, you need to fill out information such as which border route in Tanzania you will use, which is a hassle.
It takes three business days for approval, so it's best to do it a week in advance just to be safe.
Also, you need a yellow card, so don't forget to get a yellow fever vaccine.

Memorable experience Flying AirAsia to Kenya ✈️
#newyearnewtrip
Flying AirAsia Malaysia from Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 to Nairobi 🇰🇪 is one of the most memorable trip I have ever had!
Flying AirAsia can be hit or miss depending on the route, your expectations, and the type of ticket you book.
* Budget Airline Vibe: AirAsia is a low-cost carrier, so you’re getting the basics, and extra perks (like meals, baggage, or seat selection) are usually paid add-ons. It’s a no-frills experience but typically reliable.
* Check-in & Boarding: Online check-in is usually smooth, and you’ll need to get to the airport a bit earlier than with full-service airlines since there’s typically less assistance at the counters. Boarding is pretty standard, and the process is efficient, especially on shorter flights.
* Comfort: The seats are fairly standard for a budget airline—nothing luxurious, but the legroom can be okay depending on the aircraft. If you’re taller or need more space, you might want to pay for a premium seat or extra legroom.
* Service: Crew are usually friendly but keep it professional—don’t expect too much interaction unless you ask. They’ll do their job, and any issues or delays are generally handled without much fuss, though sometimes communication could be a little more detailed.
* In-flight Experience: If you’re flying on a short-haul, you’ll probably get the basics, like water or a snack for purchase. Longer flights may offer a wider range of food and entertainment options, but most will be chargeable unless you opt for an upgraded package.
* Punctuality: AirAsia tends to be pretty good with keeping to schedules, but like any airline, delays can happen, especially with budget airlines, where delays are often due to logistics and aircraft turnaround.
One thing you should never miss flying AirAsia is that you have to try their purchased in-flight meals Nasi Lemak Pak Nasser. It is the best!

My traveling experience with Kenya Airway was one of the best traveling experiences I’ve had they were very accommodating, Respectful, and always listen to your needs. I would love to always fly with them and can’t wait again for the adventures ahead. Being in the air for that amount of hour it was worth it being around their staff who direct you your way around the Airport and look out for you was one of the sweetest thing I loved about them see you this year .

Arriving in Africa for the first time ~ Feeling the wisdom from African ancestors
#2024TravelReview
When I stepped off the plane and stood on the runway of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya for the first time, a feeling of novelty and excitement came over me. This is my first time setting foot on the African continent, and I am looking forward to welcoming the cultural, natural and humanistic charm of this land. The early morning sun shines on the airport runway, and the air is mixed with the unique warmth of the tropics, making people feel both strange and familiar.
The airport facilities are modern and well-organized, yet retain the local cultural characteristics. After entering the airport lobby, I noticed many artworks on the wall depicting Kenyan wildlife, such as lions, elephants and giraffes, which immediately reminded people of the country's rich natural resources and wildlife conservation culture. The staff were very friendly and although there were a lot of people at the airport, everything went very smoothly. From immigration check to baggage claim, I felt the warm hospitality and professional service of Kenyan people.
After completing immigration formalities, I took some time to look around the shops and restaurants in the airport. The local souvenir shops were filled with African-style handicrafts, such as wood carvings, beads and colorful fabrics, and I couldn't wait to buy some as a souvenir of my trip. The aroma of coffee wafting from the restaurant reminded me of Kenya's status as the world's top coffee producer, so I ordered a cup of Kenyan coffee and savored its rich flavor with a fruity and slightly sour aroma.
When I walked out of the airport and boarded the shuttle bus to downtown Nairobi, I was mesmerized by the view outside the window. The tropical plants along the road, the brightly colored billboards and the pedestrians in traditional costumes all reflect the country’s vitality and cultural diversity. I also began to notice birds in the sky, and the natural environment here seemed to coexist with wild animals, making me look forward to the rest of the journey.
Arriving at Nairobi Airport is a ceremonial beginning. It is both a microcosm of African culture and an international one. This short moment made me realize the unique charm of Kenya and also aroused my desire to explore this land in depth. I believe that the journey ahead will be an unprecedented adventure and learning experience.

Such a Cultural Vibe!!! 🇰🇪
The trip from Johannesburg, South Africa, to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport was about 4 hours. Once you enter the airport you will have the chance to shop at many lovely stores and especially the locally made Kenyan stores! The clothing and jewelry were absolutely stunning! On the food court level upstairs, you will find a few Kenyan food stores. The best part was their local beer!! 🍺 The only thing that you should remember to do is carry U.S dollars or have Kenyan currency. You will pay a lot for the food and beers as these are in dollars only. 💵💸💰They have super comfortable seats for passengers waiting for their flights, so that was great! 😴
