There are animal shows for the entertainment as well. Other activities that you can do here is boat paddling at the mini lake located near the entrance of the zoo.😁
What I like the most of this zoo is that it is very clean and well organized. There are also food stalls around the zoo, so you will never felt hungry walking around! 😋

Zoo Johor
Was there with a few friends after Friday prayers as the mosque is nearby. It is super affordable and those who are daring enough can feed the animals there especially the always-hungry camels. Dont expect some high class zoo like Singapore Zoo. This is a "good enough" zoo. Interesting array of animals, rumoured to be favorite animals of the royal family.
The zoo is vary old and still retains that concrete and steel bars look that most south east Asian zoos have but this parks animals all look content and there was no signs of any poor welfare going on. If anything I was actually surprised with how fat a lot of the animals were.
Hope some days ,that more and more people will visit this place.

Amazing Tigers In Action!
Tigers are the largest wild cats in the world.
Adults can weigh up to 363kg (that’s about the same as ten ten year olds!) and measure up to 3.3m!
Tigers are carnivores, eating only meat.
They mainly feed on large mammals such as deer, wild pigs, antelope and buffalo.
Tigers are solitary hunters, and generally search for food alone at night.
They quietly stalk their prey until they are close enough to pounce – then they kill their victim with a bite to the neck or back of the head. Ouch!
Tigers are good swimmers!
Unlike most members of the cat family, they like water and often cool off in pools or streams.
Have fun in Johor Zoo! #Tigersfun

New looks for Johor Zoo!

Ticket price: very affordable.
The place: quite big with 4 zones, we were there for around 1 hour + Family friendly place, but not a stroller friendly place IMO. Please bring umbrella because it can get hot, and water too to stay hydrated.
🕰️Business Hours: Open everyday

Johor Zoo

The zoo is considered small compared to other zoo that I've been. But suprisingly, there are a lot of animals. I advise to visit between 9am to 11am as some nocturnal animals still awake. The zoo gave opportunities for the public to feed their deers and camels.
Mini stalls selling fruits, drinks, burgers and junk food. Would be great experience for kids.
