After visiting Chatuchak Weekend Market, I am most looking forward to the opening of the latest Qiaode Night Market 2.0 in April 2023. It is close to MRT Station N9 Ha Yaek Lat Phrao. Exit 4 is about a 5-minute walk away, and it didn't disappoint. It was super romantic to see the castle changing colors when I visited at night. The outdoor lawn area is very large and there are a lot of flamingos as a backdrop. I love how spacious this night market is, not having the need to squeeze through the crowd, and looks so much cleaner too. Some of the booths here sell similar food as the Jodd Fairs Rama 9. You can find other food such as Korean fried chicken wings, burgers, western cuisine.

Come to Jodd Fairs, a night market very close to the Rama 9 MRT station, which is conveniently located through the mall from Rama 9. This night market is not big, but it is a lot of different kinds of shops and food, the things are quite cheap. We arrived at 4pm, the shops had just opened, since the last trip was too tired, to find a restaurant to sit down and eat first. The restaurants where you sit down mostly serve Thai cuisine, volcanic bones, lion's clams, raw shrimp, fried Phnom Penh noodles, etc. You can also choose some seafood such as big tiger prawns and crabs. My fellow travelers thought the lion clams in Pattaya were fresher and tastier than the ones here. In addition to sitting down to eat, it has more choices of street food snacks, grilled jellyfish, grilled mochi, jumping shrimp (I did not eat), homemade wastewater, etc. are very special, especially the grilled sea jelly is good. Jodd Fairs is such a fun night market! So many options for food, local or fusion..you name it and they have it! Limited selection for non food stores but the quality of the stalls are good. Some interactive stalls are available too where you get to paint and etc. We went there around 9pm on friday night, and it was so crowded, but the queuing time for those famous stall such as Volcano Ribs was quite reasonable.
