Accommodation Experience
1. Environment and Design
• The homestay was created by designer Jin Yi over five years, inspired by the mountain scenery, using warm wood tones and a minimalist style. The 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows bring the mountain scenery indoors, balancing privacy and openness.
• Featured facilities include a constant temperature outdoor private hot spring, a large terrace, an outdoor barbecue area, and a recreation room, suitable for family or friends gatherings.
• The courtyard design is ingenious, with ancient locust trees and a silver perforated metal background wall forming a visual focal point. The staircase design integrates the aesthetics of ruins, creating a unique atmosphere of both 'danger' and stability.
2. Room Types and Facilities
• The rooms mainly feature low furniture, with sunken rest areas enhancing spatial resonance. Some room types include independent viewing platforms.
• 24-hour hot water, floor heating, air conditioning, and fireplaces are provided. In summer, you can enjoy the swimming pool (check the opening times in advance).
3. Services and Activities
• The butler service is meticulous and patient, offering station pick-up reservations and customized activities (such as parent-child crafts, bonfire parties).
• Nearby recommendations: hiking the Yaoziyu Great Wall, visiting ancient locust trees, experiencing the barbecue and bar at the Beijing Motorcycle Base Station.
Travel Tips
• Best seasons: Spring and autumn (April-May for blooming flowers, September-October for colorful foliage). In summer, pay attention to sun protection, and in winter, enjoy the tranquil snow scenery.
• Recommended stay: 2-3 days to fully experience the slow mountain life.
• Notes:
◦ Some stairs are steep, so walk carefully;
◦ Contact the butler in advance to confirm the use of the private hot spring and activity arrangements;
◦ There are few dining options nearby, so it is recommended to bring your own ingredients or use the homestay's cooking facilities.
