| Altar.◾️The altar is located on a small hillside by Lugu Lake, and the Goddess Bay is at the foot of the hill. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the stone steps. A small pavilion is built on the top of the hillside, which is a place to worship the Mother Sea God Mountain and also the best place to enjoy the scenery. ◾️The Mosuo people regard women as superior and respect the Gemu goddess, calling Lugu Lake Xiena Mi (Mother Sea). The Gemu Goddess Mountain rises from the sea and towers into the clouds. During the Mosuo's sea and mountain festivals, the Mosuo people come here to worship the Mother Sea God Mountain. ◾️The Gemu Goddess Mountain is located opposite the altar, between the north of Lugu Lake and the southeast and west of Yongning Dam. Standing on the altar and looking into the distance, a peaceful sleeping goddess appears in front of you, with a beautiful and moving figure. Looking up at the God Mountain from Yongning Dam, it looks like a majestic and majestic lion lying down, so Gemu Mountain is also called Lion Mountain. ◾️This is the best place to watch the sunset🌅.
