It used to be the Setong Salt Field during the Qing Dynasty, but it was flooded and moved to the vicinity of Waidutou in Jiali, Tainan. In the 23rd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1818), it was ravaged by floods again. It was moved here in 1818 and has not been moved since. It is the first salt field in Beimen Salt Works, and it is also the ancient salt field in Taiwan. It has a history of more than 180 years. Later, the tile-pan salt fields presented a beautiful art like mosaic collage. In order to continue the spirit of its salt drying industry culture, the Yunjia Nanhai National Scenic Area Management Office restored the salt fields, so that the special salt drying landscape of "Jingzaijiao" can still be seen. Retained on the coast of Yonghuali in the north gate, it has now become a very characteristic sightseeing salt field in the South Binhai National Scenic Area of Yunjia. Come here to play and experience the fun of traditional salt drying, salt picking, and salt harvesting. It is an in-depth scenic spot suitable for family and children to travel together.
