The morning mist on the Ou River is like a traditional ink painting, and the rapeseed flower fields in Guyan Painting Village are in full bloom. The best part is that 90% of the attractions are free, making it a paradise for budget travelers! ✅ Must-visit attractions 1. Guyan Painting Village: Free admission before 6:00 am! Watch fishermen casting their nets and small boats sailing across the river. Every shot is like a scene from National Geographic. 2. Yunhe Terraces: Free viewing platform on the periphery! Changting Ancient City is less crowded than Fenghuang and has lower prices than Lijiang. The bluestone streets, ancient Ming and Qing streets, and Hakka Tulou buildings are like stepping back into Jiangnan 10 years ago. ✅ Must-visit attractions 1. Changting Ancient City Wall: Free to climb! Go in the evening to watch the sunset dyeing the Jichuan Gate red. The red lanterns hanging on the city wall make it feel like you're filming a historical drama. 2. Diantou Street: A gathering place for time-honored brands! A bowl of tofu pudding costs CNY 3, a serving of poached pig kidney soup (with unlimited rice refills) costs CNY 15, and there are also freshly made ginger candies and dried tofu. There are many mosquitoes in the ancient architectural areas, so bring mosquito repellent. The facade is relatively simple, covering only 758 square meters, but it is the nation's first Hakka traditional architectural skills transmission institute. 📍Scenic Address: No. 73 East Street, Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province (inside Chaotian Gate) 🚗Scenic Transportation: You can take Tingzhou Bus No. 3 to Jichuan Gate, then walk north along Tingjiang for about 5 minutes to reach. 👍️Must-visit attractions: 1⃣ A plaque reading 'Ancestor of Rope and Ink Art' hangs high in the hall, and below it sits a statue that should be Lu Ban, but there is no introduction on-site. 2⃣ The Hakka walled house model takes the Hakka courtyard with 9 halls and 18 wells as an example. The eaves, window decorations, and wall ornaments are finely crafted, and you can also intuitively understand the layout of the Hakka walled house. 3⃣ The 'Wonderful Tools Produce Wonderful Products' theme showcases traditional woodworking tools. With the advent of modern industrial production, these tools may only be seen in museums. 4⃣ The workshop scene introduces the traditional woodworking work environment through different craftsman models. 5⃣ The interactive finished product area is where visitors can engage in woodworking activities. The bus station in Changting is still eaves-style, with an ancient flavor 4. There are very few parking spaces in Changting. It is recommended to park farther away and rent a car. Shared electric cars are hard to find, and they will be driven away if you park them, and you can't park them casually.
