Jiashan Temple was called Puci Temple since the Tang Dynasty. It was called "Lingquan Zen Temple" from the Song Dynasty to the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It was built in 870 AD. At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, Li Zicheng was defeated and presided over this place for 30 years, and passed away here.
