🅿️ 🚗CNY 10/visit🅿️
Notes:
No reservation is required. No one checks tickets. Just buy a shuttle bus ticket 🚌, CNY 15 for a round trip. Tickets are checked before boarding. 🚌 The drivers are very skilled.
There are many tourists on weekends. There are two ticket windows for individual tourists and two for groups. The lines are long and people cut in line. Plan your trip accordingly.
You need to hike up the mountain. There are only stairs and no cable cars. Some sections are wet and slippery. The slope is steep. It is slippery after rain. You must wear non-slip sneakers.
You must bring your own food. There is little food on the way. The grilled sausage on Yixiantian costs CNY 15 each and tastes good.
There are many trash cans along the way, which makes it easy to throw away trash.
The safety factor is low. Some people fainted on the way. Fortunately, it happened at a rest stop and nothing serious happened. It would be terrible if someone rolled down the stairs. There are no paramedics around. The rescue number is on the bus ticket. Do not climb the mountain if you are not in good health. Rest in time if you are tired.

Free travel in Quzhou!
Free travel in Quzhou! The first weekend of free travel in Quzhou (November 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025, excluding the Spring Festival holiday) is coming. Quzhou is a fun place with delicious food. Highly recommended. You can make a reservation at the entrance of the scenic spot, which is very convenient!
Day 1: Jinhua Lanxi · Youbu Ancient Town → Quzhou Longyou · Longyou Grottoes
Youbu Ancient Town is about ten kilometers away from Longyou. You must go and see it! At first, I thought it was on the way, but after seeing it, I was amazed at how great the ancients were!
Day 2: Quzhou Jiangshan · Qingyang Mao's Cultural Village → Fugai Mountain → Nianbadu Ancient Town
If you have enough time, you can visit Fugai Mountain and Nianbadu Ancient Town together, and then visit Jianglang Mountain and Qingyang Mao's Cultural Village (close to each other) on the third day. Because of the tight schedule, I visited three scenic spots in one day and didn't have time to visit Nianbadu during the day. The exploration route of Fugai Mountain is super fun for children. They actively explored the whole journey for three hours and urged us adults to walk faster. Be sure to pay attention to safety during the adventure!
Day 3: Quzhou Jiangshan · Jianglang Mountain → Return
Tickets for Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area are free, and the shuttle bus costs CNY 15 per person (round trip). Walk up and down the Eighteen Bends to the foot of the mountain. The whole journey takes four hours. At Xiake Pavilion, you can see the whole view of the Three Stones at close range. The Three Stones and Yixiantian are in two directions. You can go to see the Three Stones first, and then go back to Yixiantian. Huixian Rock, Three Stones, and Yixiantian are the most worth seeing in my opinion!

Climb Jianglang Mountain and experience the magnificent scenery between heaven and earth.
Jianglang Mountain Scenic Area is a place that leaves people in awe of the wonders of nature. Known as the 'First Mountain of Jiangnan,' this extraordinary mountain boasts three towering peaks that rise into the clouds like giants standing between heaven and earth. Looking up from the foot of the mountain, the steep and rugged peaks make one feel small, filled with both challenge and reverence. As you climb, every step reveals a new view, with cliffs adorned by mist, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere.
Along the way, 'Yixiantian' is a must-see surprise spot. This narrow crevice allows only one person to pass through, making you feel embraced by the mountain. It's both thrilling and mysterious, showcasing the infinite charm of nature. As you ascend, the scenery becomes increasingly magnificent, with rolling mountains spreading out before your eyes. The distant view of overlapping green peaks broadens your mind.
The viewing platform at the summit is even more breathtaking. Overlooking the entire mountain landscape, the sea of clouds surges at the mountain top, as if this magnificent scenery is all that exists between heaven and earth. The morning or evening glow casts rich colors on the peaks, painting a natural masterpiece that is mesmerizing.
The beauty of Jianglang Mountain lies not only in its steep and majestic peaks but also in its harmonious integration with heaven and earth. This journey made me deeply appreciate the greatness of nature, providing an unparalleled visual feast and bringing a sense of inner peace and emotion.

Jianglang Mountain, the only World Natural Heritage in the Yangtze River Delta region.
I must share with you a hidden gem in the Yangtze River Delta region - Jianglang Mountain in Jiangshan City, Quzhou.😎
Jianglang Mountain is one of the nominated sites for the "China Danxia" series and has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site. It is also one of the new top ten mountain parks in Zhejiang Province and a 5A-level scenic spot.👏
🚗Here's a guide to climbing the mountain:
The whole journey takes about 3 hours. If you are a novice climber, it is best to have someone to guide you, because the second half of the climb is really exciting! Many places are built with small steps along the cliffs, which are relatively narrow. Some steps are even as high as 90 degrees, which is indeed quite dangerous. But that's what makes it more challenging.💪
Climbing the mountain during this season, many mountain roads are shaded by trees, but it is best to bring a thick coat to prevent the wind from being too cold at the top of the mountain. In addition, you can bring some snacks to replenish your energy.🥰
Jianglang Mountain is really suitable for the public to climb. Mountain lovers, hurry up! Come here to experience the charm of the World Natural Heritage, challenge yourself, and reap different scenery and experiences.

Jianglang Mountain, go see: Yixiantian
During the summer vacation, I took my granddaughter and grandson on a self-driving educational tour around Fujian. The original plan was to enter Fujian from Nanjing, Jiangsu via Huangshan, Anhui, but the weather forecast predicted heavy rain in Huangshan for the next day. So, we decided to avoid Huangshan and head directly to Fujian via Jiangshan, Quzhou, Zhejiang. We drove about 490 kilometers from Shengshi Xianji Hotel in Nanjing to Yixili Hotel in Jiangshan to rest. The next day, we visited Jianglang Mountain and Nianbadu.
Jianglang Mountain, formerly known as Yulang Mountain, is said to have been named after three brothers with the surname Jiang who climbed to the top and turned into three huge stones. The three stones, resembling stone bamboo shoots and heavenly pillars, are arranged in a '川' shape from north to south and are known as the 'Three Piles of Stones'. It is called the first peak of Danxia in China, with its majestic and unique scenery, picturesque landscapes, lush mountains, and flowing springs, making it a spectacular sight. Xu Xiake visited Jianglang Mountain three times and praised it highly for its 'strangeness', 'danger', and 'mystery', calling it 'the most magnificent in the world and the most beautiful in the southeast'. Climbing up the 'Eighteen Bends' stone path, sometimes turning four or five bends, sometimes one or two bends, the path is marked with 'x bend', not uniformly counting one or two bends as one bend. We reached Kaiming Zen Temple, ending the Eighteen Bends, already drenched in sweat. At the eighth bend, my granddaughter stayed with her grandmother to rest, while my seven-year-old grandson accompanied me to continue climbing.
At Kaiming Temple, the road splits into two: one leading to Yixiantian, and the other to Jianglang Academy and Weiren Peak. The tour guide led the group straight to Yixiantian, but we first went left, seeing Tiger Run Spring, the ruins of Jianglang Academy, and Weiren Peak (although the introduction said this peak resembles the great pioneers of reform and opening up, I couldn't see much resemblance from various angles, but I took a photo of my grandson here for a keepsake). The entire scenic area is spacious and clean, but a sign for the scenic shuttle bus parking lot caught my attention. After much effort, I found a staff member who told me that this was the endpoint reachable by the scenic shuttle bus without climbing the Eighteen Bends. However, a section of the mountain road was damaged by heavy rain and was under repair, so the shuttle bus service was temporarily suspended, and the nearby Xunv Lake was also temporarily closed.
We returned to Kaiming Temple and continued climbing towards Yixiantian. Along the way, we passed Huixian Rock, with strange rocks pressing down from above. We passed under the rocks, and the plank road was smooth. Looking far into the distance, the villages and towns around Jiangshan were scattered among the surrounding mountains, dotted in the greenery, offering an excellent view.
Climbing to the gate of Yixiantian, the peaks on both sides were towering, and the stone steps in the middle were smooth, extending upwards like a heavenly ladder. The elderly were already exhausted, with sweat-soaked clothes clinging to their bodies, but my grandson was full of courage, wanting to climb up by himself to see what the mountain pass looked like. I mistakenly agreed, thinking that with so many tourists, nothing would go wrong. I kept my eyes on my grandson, but soon lost sight of him among the many tourists. I began to shout loudly, attracting the attention of several groups of college students. They comforted me and said they would help me find my grandson ahead and bring him back early. About ten minutes later, I heard my grandson calling for grandpa from the top of the mountain. My heart finally settled. My grandson returned to my side with his bottle of drink, sitting on the stone steps, his face flushed and extremely tired, but he proudly said, 'Grandpa, how about it? I represented the four of us and climbed to the top. Shouldn't grandma give me a reward?' My worry subsided, but I forgot to ask him what scenery he saw at the top.
The beautiful and unique Jianglang Mountain: a national key scenic spot, a national 5A-level tourist area, and listed as a World Natural Heritage site. Climbing Yixiantian with my grandson made it even more unforgettable.

Experience the ancient charm of a thousand years, and visit the low-key sacred land of Southern Confucianism, Quzhou
In the many cities of Zhejiang, Quzhou is a rather low-key place. However, in reality, it is an out-and-out historical and cultural city, with a history of over 1,800 years of city establishment!
Quzhou is located to the west of Zhejiang, and due to its special geographical position as 'the thoroughfare to four provinces and the head of five routes,' it is also one of the centers for the spread of Confucian culture in the south of the Yangtze River, earning the reputation of 'the sacred land of Southern Confucianism.' Quzhou still retains well-preserved ancient state-level city structures such as the Quzhou Prefecture City and ancient city walls, which are worth spending half a day wandering and exploring!
👍Most recommended:
The essence of scenic spots is the Shuitingmen Historical and Cultural District, located in the western corner of Quzhou city. Here, temples, city towers, historical sites, and clusters of traditional residences are scattered, making it the most representative district of the ancient city's style, known as 'a museum without walls.'
🗓Travel Itinerary:
Recommended walking route: Shuitingmen - Shuiting Street - Tianwang Tower - Three Streets and Seven Alleys - Shuitingmen by Night
The thousand-year history nourishes the ancient city and stone-paved roads, the landscape brings a natural chivalrous spirit, and the spicy cuisine is unique... Quzhou, this serene city, is indeed full of too many surprises, worth your visit!
