It is a one-hour drive from Beijing and feels like entering the Wild West. It is a great place for camping and taking photos on weekends. It only takes about 50 minutes to drive from Beijing, so it’s easy to get there! This is an abandoned mine with large areas of grassland (now turned yellow), exposed mines, red leaves (now only a few are left), and flocks of sheep and horses. Around 4-5 pm, people would herd sheep and cattle. There are all kinds of snack carts around, including grilled sausages, roasted sweet potatoes, coffee, grilled cold noodles, and all kinds of snacks, as well as kite stalls. There is a large free parking lot and roadside parking is also available. It is a site suitable for camping and the terrain is wild enough. Unfortunately, there are many steep slopes, and I really can't ride! 🤑 🌺 The Red Leaf Valley is colorful after the 11th. 🌺 The water area in Picture 2 is located next to the Beijing-Harbin Expressway and runs through both sides of the expressway. If you want to get close to the water, you can only go through the forest from the right side of the intersection of the main road to the campsite and the Beijing-Harbin Expressway below, and you can reach it in ten meters. The shore is a steep slope of gravel, so be careful!
