I have been to Zhiben many times, and this is my first time to the Forest Amusement Park! The indicators are clear, the facilities are well-maintained, and the ecological conservation is perfect. The Hero's Slope is not difficult to climb, and the map also has indicators of the difficulty of reaching the scenic spot. On the way back after the climb, we stopped at the hot spring foot bath. What’s even more surprising is that we saw wild sambar deer on the mountain road! So cute! The hot springs are famous, but it's summer and I didn't feel like putting on a swimsuit, so I took a bus from the station and decided to go to the forest park, which was also the end of the line. The Taroko Gorge in Hualien was closed to traffic due to the earthquake in April, but this one had a hiking trail, so even beginners could easily explore. However, I could see deep valleys and waterfalls, and it was a place I wouldn't normally be able to go to, so I felt like I was in a hidden place. In that sense, it was just the right place for me. On the way back, I was able to get to Taitung city center from a nearby bus stop in just over an hour. Very convenient.

The hotel said there was a waterfall nearby. Since it had just rained recently, there was plenty of water, so it was a good place to go in the morning before leaving Zhiben. Sure enough, the amount of water in Baiyu Waterfall did not disappoint! Really beautiful! It's very close to the hotel, the distance is short and easy to drive! I look forward to bringing my family here again next time when there is plenty of water!
