The Awasaki Lighthouse is 16-meters high and was constructed in 2020 with a motif of Miura Radish (famous local brand of agricultural product). The unique shape and the white and green gradations reminded us of radish and made a great contrast against green-grass field in the park. I want to travel to Jogashima Island again.

Jogashima Bridge is located at the southern end of the Miura Peninsula, and is a steel box girder-style bridge with a length of 575 meters and a height of 23.5 meters over the Straits of the Miura Peninsula and Jogashima. Under the bridge, large ships of tuna deep-sea fishing at Misaki Port come and go, so there is a long bridge pier space of 95 meters in the center of the bridge.
