[2025 Jeonju Attraction] Travel Guide for Jeonju Gaeksa-gil (Updated Apr)

During weekdays and weekends, the guesthouse meat restaurant is always busy with reservations and lots of people I've been to Gohyangyeok Guesthouse Main Branch! It's a place certified as delicious by the waiting and the number of visitors~ The meat is said to be the top 1% of the highest quality Korean pork from each region! No wonder.. the meat was so delicious👍🏻 They grill it all for you, and the price is so reasonable that I liked it even more! The highest quality Korean pork, aged for over 10 days, comes pre-grilled. It's sizzled on an iron pot lid and eaten with green onion kimchi, and it's impossible not to be delicious 😊 We ordered aged pork belly, aged neck meat, pork skin, Keli/Terra beer, and beef bone bibim noodles! 1st floor: Korean beef grilled (dachi style) 2nd floor: steak (table) I visited twice, and the first time I had steak, and the second time I had grilled. I think the 2nd floor would have a better atmosphere when the sun goes down. - 🏷 Grilled food All tables are reserved and a deposit of 50,000 won is required to prevent no-shows. There is also a course meal (70,000 won per person), but we ordered a la carte. I wanted to eat safe, but they said it wasn't fully aged that day, so we ordered [2 pieces of ribs + 1 piece of sirloin + house wine]. Can you see the shrimp meat attached to the ribs? The chef grilled it himself and cut it and served it with gold dust, caviar, truffle salt & sauce, and it melted in my mouth😍 Even the fruit dessert was perfect. I went there because it is famous for tonkatsu. There is a regular wait, so if you go early when the meal starts, there will be plenty of tables :) The tonkatsu is soft on the outside and crispy on the inside ❤️ It is a great combination if you eat it with wasabi without feeling greasy. Jeonju, my favorite domestic travel destination! Especially at the end of April, the Jeonju Film Festival is held in a grand manner, so I recommend enjoying 2-3 movies along with the delicious restaurants at the guesthouse. I will also share a list of restaurants that are highly praised by both locals and tourists. 1) Hasukyeong Gamaseot Bibimbap (formerly Junganghoe Hall) - Bibimbap that is so good that your legs will break 2) Peace and Peace - Impressive warm phrases 3) Hanlimok - Mongtan in Jeonju, but now the atmosphere is quiet 4) Dongyeong Coffee - Cheesecake Whole Cake that you can take away.. 5) Yukyoni - Jeonju was actually a mecca for Japanese food.. 6) Seongmidang - The story of eating 2 bibimbap in 1 trip to Jeonju Also, I highly recommend Nabijam Hanok Hotel, where I stayed, to those who want to experience a hanok hotel at a reasonable price!
