The room was really modern and spacious, the location was great with a train station and bus stops right next door to get pretty much anywhere, and the staff were really nice. 👍🏻 Rooftop pool is what makes it five stars. Great and fantastic with bar and snack food being offered. The pool situated right at the top of the building and the view is stunning. The tropical decoration will make you feel like at beach right at the city centre. The pool also has a jacuzzi function too. The staff were incredible, extremely accommodating and you can hire umbrellas, push bikes etc just for free of charge. The lifts also drop you straight into the mall below. 👀 My room was great. Nice, clean, big, with a thoughtful layout and a very nice view of the entire orchard road and had everything I needed like small refrigerator, drinking water faucet, and things that one usually forgets like a toothbrush and toothpaste. 💦 Overall, it is a pleasant experience at Hotel JEN and will surely return if there is any chance. 🫶🏻✨ #singapore #bestplace #bestview #awesomepic #mytripvlog #celebratewithtrip #best_trip_by_trip #bestplace #recommended

#myperfectstaycation Hotel Jen at Orchardgateway has a nice infinity pool overlooking the busy streets of Orchard, that attracts many guests to use. From afar, you can even catch the Marina bay skyline, including a glimpse of Marina Bay Sands. There are also jacuzzis located by the side of the infinity pool, which were quite popular with guests. A poolside bar, children's pool, and seats were also available.

#myperfectstaycation As my stay comes with club lounge access, I got the chance to dine in the club lounge. I was initially apprehensive about what was offered, as I had heard not so positive reviews. Nevertheless, the happy hour was the highlight of this club lounge, as there was free flow of sweet and savoury bites, and both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The bites were quite varied, and we left the lounge with a satisfied and full stomach. The staff were friendly and efficient, and cleared our empty plates quickly. The club lounge experience turned out better than I had thought.

#myperfectstaycation Booked a Club twin room for my staycation with Hotel Jen Orchardgateway. The location is very convenient as the hotel is just above the train station, and there are lifts to bring guests through the train station, followed by Orchardgateway mall, and then the hotel lobby. However, it will have been better if there were clearer signs to direct guests to the lifts. Check in was messy as guests were queuing at the wrong counters due to lack of staff even on a weekend. Despite the staff telling me that I will receive a call when my room is ready, I did not receive a call, and guests after me got their keys. Nevetheless, staff were helpful when I approached the counter to settle my room, and directed me to the lifts to go up. Room was also clean, and they remembered my birthday amenity even though I had asked a few weeks ago. Hence, it was still a nice stay on the whole.

Positives - Location of hotel is fantastic. Next to Somerset MRT station and in the heart of Orchard Road. The hotel is within Orchard Gateway Mall, with Orchard Central Mall and Somerset 313 in between. - Young and very chill vibes. Choice of font, palette, staff uniform etc… - Sofa bed means room can accommodate 3 adults if needed - Comfy bed - The infinity pool is great to watch both sunrise and sunset. Stunning - bed side usb charging - ice dispenser and vending machine on floor Negatives - 40 inch tv is a little small. 54 inch tv would be better - shower/tub combi is not ideal - rooms showing some obvious signs of wear and tear - no Bluetooth speaker - no media port/ no Chromecast - room view slightly blocked by building facade - sound insulation not fantastic. can hear ppl talking and walking along the corridor #singapore #tripblazers #staycation

This infinity pool and deck offers one of the best sunrise and sunset views in Singapore. Must experience to believe. There is also a bar where one can order drinks as well as finger food such as burgers, fries etc… Highly recommended even if you are not a hotel guest. The club lounge was decent too. The entrance did not have a “wow” factor though and it was just a plain see- through door. Size of the lounge was decent and provided good views of Orchard Road and downtown Singapore. The food served during “chilling hour” was pretty good in terms of variety, taste and portion size. Guest can also choose to have their breakfast either at the lounge or the restaurant. #singapore #tripblazers #staycation

#celebratewithtrip Name of Place:Orchardgateway mall location: 277 Orchard Rd, Singapore 238858 Right outside of the Orchardgateway mall I noticed this large pink installation. being very curious I went nearer to take a look at it. It was a large Christmas ice cream sundae from the museum of ice cream. There seems to be some tie-up between The ice cream museum and Orchardgateway mall. There are also some challenges to complete and win 10$ shopping vouchers. Do check it out.

Address - Orchardgateway Shopping Centre, 277 Orchard Road, Singapore 238858 Hotel JEN Orchardgateway is located right above this shopping mall, making it super convenient to get all your shopping and dining needs settled. I also absolutely love the funky neon light designed spaces within the shopping centre, making for an interesting experience. There are night markets stalls situated all around the ground floor, where you can get trinkets and bags for fairly cheap prices. You will also be spoilt for choice for dining, but I do recommend trying the Jiang Hu Hot Pot if you have the time to queue as it was very popular. This hotel is located in a very strategic location. Directly beside 313 somerset, makes it extremely convenient to travel via public transport. Major shopping malls are just a stones' throw away as Somerset Road is just a street away from Orchard Road. Prices of this hotel are fairly competitive as well as compared to good hotel around this central locality. This hotel comes with an indoor gymnasium along with an outdoor infinity pool, which has been published in one of my photos. The service was spectacular the other time, as the hotel was not fully booked and they manage to upgrade our room to accommodate with our early check in. Would definitely come back again!

Name of Place: Orchardgateway Mall Location: 277 Orchard Rd, Singapore 238858 Located at an amazingly central location this Orchardgateway mall is always buzzing with activities and large crowds attracted by the sales. As I popped in there yesterday I went to check out the Atrium area of this mall where they hold a special sale with little shops selling various items. The attractive part of these little shops is that they always sell something new after a 2-week period. I have seen some exotic items like jewellery from Turkey, especially focusing on the Turkish eye (which is believed to ward off evil eyes). Do pop by and check out the cute shops. #meetsingapore

Located on the top at Level 19 of the Hotel Jen Gateway situated conveniently in the center of Orchard area next to Somerset313, the swimming pool is one of the best infinity pools here in Singapore! The pool overlooks the Singapore skyline with skyscrapers and you can get a bird's eye view from the pool area. The pool is extremely popular and it's always packed with hotel guests lounging at the pool area. There is a kids pool area which makes it very family friendly and what I liked most is their selection of floaties available for kids to use so you don't need to pack one along during your stay there! Enjoy a good drink at the pool bar area while admiring the scenary there, you won't regret it. #sginsider

#sginsider Just had a weekend staycay at Hotel Jen Gateway which recently reopened after being closed due to covid. I booked the highest room category - Panorama King Room with club access and it was well worth it! Views from the spacious room were amazing with full length windows facing Orchard Road where we can see the billboards and busy shopping street below. The bathroom was fabulous with inbuilt TV inside the mirror and are bathtub. Sadly our view from bathroom wasn't great, think you have to go higher to get a better view (above 12th floor at least). Toiletries were from Malin+Goetz and smelled wonderful. Enjoyed sitting at the bay window sofa area while sipping my hot coffee!

#cityscapes One of the most Instagrammable (or trip moment-able) location for Singaporeans is this aesthetically stunning bridge that links the two towers of the Orchard Gateway together. Known as the tube which is essentially a overhead pedestrian bridge for the influencers to show their craft in photography as well as those seeking shelter from the unforgiving humidity of the Singapore weather while comfortably drenched in the refreshing air conditioning of orchard gateway. The tube is located at level three of the mall and you can just grab a coffee and watch the business of orchard road pass you by through the viewing gallery

#orchard #hoteljen #singapore #pool Room is on the smaller side, the toilet door gives a banging sound whenever you close.. So must close gently. Other than that, a cosy small room is enough for a short staycay. The pool is a must go! But it can be very crowded at night. But beautiful nightlights and place to soak in... You can walk to the other side on the same level as the pool to have a cosy corner in the outdoor. Not sure if that is an outdoor gym corner but it is really nice to chillax over there. Breakfast is considered quite good. There is a variety of food but there can be a queue. Lastly, the water and ice dispenser is very cool and located at our level. If you sre hungry, you can purchase snacks at the vending machine too. Never go hungry!

Nearly a 360 view of the orchard/city area is what you get at the rooftop of Hotel Jen. Not forgetting their super gorgeous infinity pool. Guests who are not hotel guests may try dining at Baywatch which selling western food and drinks. Such as burgers and fries. You can consider consider chilling here as your latest hang out spot. I saw many tourist ordering them, the restaurant grills your food on the spot near a bbq area near the pool. Sun rays shimmering in the bright Singapore summer sky is how Hotel Jen feels like. We are all used to the Marina Bay view but what’s a view at orchard like? If chasing infinity pool or rooftop view is what you enjoy like me then Hotel Jen is the place to go. The rooftop is accessible to non staying guests. As long as you dine in the bar conveniently named baywatch 😂. The staff at the bar are the same one you go to to take your pool towels. I actually like the day view better, however it’s just too hot I decided to leave in 30mins. If you don’t mind then you can try sunbathing there like how the tourists are doing. #cityscapes #infinitypool #staycation

If sunbathing in the sun rays at Hotel Jen sounds like fun to you then moon bathing in the dazzling night sky would be even crazier. Fun fact, most hotel guest even the tourists stay in the pool for hours from day time to night fall. I love how there was enough space for us to chill and relax unlike the other world famous infinity in Singapore! Plus at night it’s much cooler and the city just comes alive in another way. Another thing I like it’s how the pool closes at 10pm. Which means ample time to play with or you could even enjoy your day out and head back after dinner and still have time to take a soak. #infinitypool #staycation

Very delighted to have finally tried the infinity pool at Hotel Jen @ Gateway. It is the only infinity pool in the orchard area and it definitely didn’t disappoint. One would see as far as the Marina Bay and a glimpse of “ocean view”. The very interesting was this hotel was a designated quarantine facility for two years during the pandemic! Which was why I couldn’t book a staycation earlier despite the infinity pool attraction. Well now we are here and YES the money well spent. Did I mention how it’s pretty affordable for it’s view and location? The staff provides excellent services like a luxury hotel too. #infinitypool #staycation

Hotel Jen has been one of must try during the pandemic because I’ve heard a lot about their location at the heart of orchard road and of course their infinity pool. The location of the hotel is directly above Somerset mrt station and hidden away from the public. Meaning, your stay would not be disturbed by non hotel guests. We stayed at their base room, and I’m surprised it wasn’t as small as I expected. We got a city view and the room even comes with a day bed if you need. While the hotel doesn’t come with a bathtub for my room, I think the room is size was alright especially if you are a tourist looking for the perfect hotel location with infinity pool. The staff in the hotel are also very friendly, you really feel like you get the service of a luxury hotel without paying for the price of it. #staycation

Checking in to Hotel Jen feels like you are checking into a luxury hotel without the price of a luxury hotel. The entrance of the hotel is located right next to Orchard Gateway mall. Don’t be fooled by the reception there! That’s not the actual check in area. Visitors will also be greeted by the friendly staff who would help you press for the lift. Hotel guests can also use the cute bicycles and trolleys for free!! I found the trolleys so cute, even though I didn’t need it I still used it. Makes lugging my luggage around so comfortable. Once inside the lift we will be transported to level 10 the actual check in area which is also spacious. Spot Hotel Jen’s very own robot too! #staycation

My husband and I got to enjoy this at the hotel’s buffet restaurant, Makan@JEN, on level 10. The variety was quite wide and there was a live egg station too, always a plus point! Food wise, it was fairly decent, though some were better than others. If you like having ice cream for breakfast, you’d be delighted to know they serve mini ice cream cups in different flavours! The ambience was lush and relaxing, with many sofas and plush seating to choose from. Staff here were also delightful and helpful. However, the evening canapés and cocktails were a sore letdown. We didn’t expect them to be served in a bento box with a limited selection of mainly fried food. The drinks menu was quite basic too. One of them is a Zen Garden situated on level 19, the same level as the swimming pool. It was an absolutely calming place to relax at, with the willow-like trees swaying in the breeze. Down at level 10, there is also a huge green cylindrical wall that has plants covering its entire surface! If you dine al fresco at Makan@JEN restaurant, you’ll get a chance to admire this towering marvel. This hotel is super conveniently located above a shopping mall along the Orchard Road stretch, which means easy access to all the other malls in the area too. The room we were assigned was pretty comfortable and clean, but very basic. As we got the club room, we had complimentary minibar items and afternoon tea snacks as well. Stay, dine splash it up in the heart of Orchard! I stayed at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La over the weekend and am already thinking which day to come back! It’s like a sanctuary of its own despite being in the heart of town. Despite being in the city, you feel like a little vacation with their infinity pool overlooking city views. The sunset there is perfect and remember to grab a burger to two because they brought Manila’s cult favorite Raging Bull Burgers into town till 31 May 2022. You can also chill and relax over cocktails from Shangri-La Singapore’s Origin Bar to go with your burgers! For dinner, we tried Makan@JEN’s Seafood & Friends buffet and indulged in grilled lobster, scallops and lots of seafood on ice! So good and worth every cent, going at just $78++ per person.
