This Freedom Park has been restricted to visitors and cordoned off to cross the bridge. The cherry blossoms in Incheon's Freedom Park bloom later than in Seoul. There are fewer people admiring the cherry blossoms than in Yeouido or Namsan Park. The flowers are in good condition. From the park to the Octagonal Pavilion, you can overlook the vast coast of Incheon. The round trip drive to Incheon takes 2 hours, so you can include Chinatown and Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village in your itinerary. #seoultrip Very first western style park in Korea whose name has changed few times. There is a statue of 5 star General Dogulas MacAurthur. Also several other monuments as well as social club house which must be also very first in Korea. It's located in East Incheon near the China Town. There are pretty and well organized paths. Also, there are a couple of famous monuments; the Korean-USA centennial Monument, the status of MacArthur. It's a great park. I was walking in Chinatown when I decided to take the stairs and hence arrived at the park. It' a quiet place and there's a pavilion where you can see the port area of Incheon.

These stairs were built to mark the border between the Japanese Concession in 1883 and the Qing Concession in 1884. There are two stone pillars in the center with the words “Qing Guo Ji Ji Gu” and “Japanese Ji Ji Gu” engraved between them. The Japanese and Qing style buildings and the huge statue of Confucius that you can see as you climb the stairs are impressive. 🏞️ If you climb the Qing-Japanese Concession Boundary Stairs, you will come across Jayu Park. The view of the Incheon sea from here is really great!
