Near Agra Fort, next to the railway line stands a large mosque, the Jama Masjid. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1648 AD for his beloved daughter Jahanara. Among them, the red and white mosaic structure is very eye-catching. At the beginning of its construction, the mosque was connected to the west gate of Agra Fort by a huge courtyard. However, in the mid-19th century, the British built a railway between the two places.
